I just recently discovered the SOS band. I heard these songs when I was a boy, But now with utube I was able to put faces to the sound. And I love there music. And what a beautiful lady, with an amazing voice!!! May the Lord bless her with a speedy recovery in Jesus mighty name. 🙏🙏🙏❤️

@Nicecalgarian I wasn't, the song is about separations in relationships but we were conscientious about presenting subject matter that may not be suitable for children...including teenagers, so the idea was to present a twist to the theme in a manner that would allow the audience to understand and relate to separations in relationships without the kind of energy present in personal romantic relationships. Everyone at some point...including children, deal with the issue of personal separations through death or divorce and felt it would be in the best interest of a general audience to go the death route...Everyone could relate and it would still apply to the song...depending upon how you looked at it. That was the premise...it wasn't insinuated that she had died...there's an image in there showing her at a gravesite...alive...cleaning a grave....ever lost a love one and depressantly felt...what am I going to do now that we've gone separate ways? Happens all the time. It's not a problem...your comments and concerns are appreciated greatly....but that was the logic She's alive and many folk have felt the way that you do...but no, she was down with illness and her fans and community...including the church rallied behind her and she was forever grateful...as in the tribute video centered around the church...with T.D Jakes...it wasn't that she died...the videos were produced during her birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 and she was also retiring at the time and they were all meant as a tribute to her and a wonderful career and she was/is definitely one of those artist who was community minded and wasn't arrogant and adored her fans. It was believed that it was time to pay tribute. If you like....read the other comments by others and the response they received...it should substantiate what's being said 😌. Thank you for your support...it's greatly appreciated...don't worry, she's aware...we're from the same circles...you are loved and appreciated as part of this community and that means something over here! 🫠😌

@@professorblack40 Thanks 🙏. My best friend made me a tape back in the 80's. We didn't have hifi but just a plain tape player. He had a beautiful pioneer music system. The very first song I heard was Tell me if you still care, I was blown away. Never heard something so good 😊. From the instruments to the voices. Today I am 52 years old and just think SOS was way ahead of their time. It still gives me chills and joy to this day. From the bottom of my heart I say thank you 💕🇨🇦🎶🙏

Mrs. Kinney, she's still alive. She had medical problems and her fans ralllied behind her and she's forever grateful 🙏. The song, "Separate Ways" was about a relationship ending but we didn't want to portray the message in that manner because children are on KZread so it was decided to portray a separation between people in other ways while holding on to the theme of the song. That's what it's about. She's aware of you...just waiting for a response and I'll relay the message back to you. Thanks for your support 😌 🙏

Dealing with issues of separation..."Separate Ways"... without becoming offensive or graphic...in ways that are universally understood... even children... this is a public platform. A younger mind would catch the concept of separate ways through their own lenses without the reference of a romantic relationship. Everyone could understand the message...
