Somewhere in time features Adrian and Dave’s best guitar work imo all those solos are amazing…With that said awesome job on this it really shows just how awesome and great Adrian is..

My thought was when Maiden started, Dave was clearly better. Powerslave is when they became equals and since then Adrian keeps getting better. Sea of Madness is THE perfect guitar solo

It’s not just the solos, it’s the guitar tone. I wish I could make my fender sound like it does on sea of madness, that solo when the drums go quite is lovely . And stranger in a strange land isint just one of my fave maiden solos it’s one of my fave solos by any band
Adrian Smith is the best. Awesome playing on all of his 1980s solos. I wish I could play them that well:)

Adrian Smith is a very underrated guitar player. All his solos are so recognizable … and the Stranger in a strange Land solo is a masterpiece!
Un maestro Adrian!!!
Great covers of great solos by Adrian! What I love about Maiden is that each guitarist brings something different to the table, Adrian has tasty bluesy licks, Dave has silky smooth shredding and Janick is controlled chaos...together they make epic music. Up the Irons!

Yes, 3 very different styles but very complementary too.
7th son has always been one of his most prog solos

Quelle inspiration il avait sur Somewhere in time and Seventh son... Et dire qu'il était en dépression à cette époque !

Holy Smoke! That you can play all these solos so accurately is beyond comprehension! I was always a massive Adrian Smith fan, (not to be underestimated by Dave of course), but this is something else...Can you play all of Dave's solos as well? 😉

tu joues un milliard de fois mieux que moi, mais un peu trop scolaire pour moi. le poil ne se lève pas (mais peut être par jalousie ). Néanmoins merci pour tes tutos. Adrian est formidable et chopper son feeling est quasi impossible.
@StephLeGratteux

Merci.

One continuous and stupid set of notes. There is a Russian team "Aria", they are often called plagiarists of Western mastodons Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Deep Purple and so on. In the rhythm sections? Most likely, yes, in fact they play a genre and are limited by the genre, but in solo parts Iron Maiden sucks on both cheeks. Just listen to their solo in the song "Рабство иллюзий" or "Паранойя" or "Герой асфальта", you will understand what a good solo is. In fact, they stole everything except the texts, which were not even a head, but a whole foot higher, and the solo parts. In fact, of all these solo parts, only Number of the Beast and Trooper at least somehow come close to... imitators in terms of material development
Your vibrato needs tons of practice....it is really dead! Listen to Paul Kossof from the band Free for great killer vibrato. Criticism will help more than praise here, so don't take it wrong!
