The new one has eq and 50% more battery life. And definitely the new one gives more details on the mids and highs.

its important to note that micro 2 can pair with micro 1. surprised you noted only small difference in sound, i would say the micro 2 is noticeably brighter and the bigger battery makes a big difference in its likely use. micro 2 can be used with the app where you get some eq control, not so with micro 1.

Feels good hearing to classics. I also remember i think it was called "what you gonna do" that was used on the Xb30 and 20 quite a few times. For this one I have to disagree for the no reason to upgrade part, as the stormbox 2 has has 76% larger battery inside, supports costum EQ and can be paired with the old one. Other than that, thank you for your work and quality in your Videos.

Micro 2 mids b highs r a bit loud that suppress the bass..as I use both.. the sound of the old micro seems to be more soothing..its my personal opinion..may vary from.others. Music programmer 🎶🎵🎹

What options, what speakers allow for USB or micro card input? Very few do this? This could add to application other then just sound.

Battery bank feature is biggest bonus. Now you have a speaker and a power bank backup

Totally agree with the SQ not being a factor for an upgrade. I mean, brighter does not always mean better. The extra juice from the batt of the newer micro is a biggie though as you can have 50% more fun especially if you are to stick em into your bike for long rides. I would never use the powerbank function of any of my portable speakers though as doing that would only hasten its degradation.

The micro 2 is more clear will definitely go for it I have the old version as well.

I have two jbl charge 5, and they sound amazing! You won't regret it for getting another one. Plus you can get stereo sound with 2 of them, and that sounds very amazing! Better then one Xtreme 1 of Extreme 3

I disagree, I think it is definitely worth the upgrade

Greetings! I bought the second version and after i try it intensively on the bike (maximum volume always and a few days of heavy rain) after 3 months of use it began to distort and you could no longer hear it... fortunately as I bought it for Amazon, they refunded me the money and now I ordered the first version to see if it holds up... I've also had the Bose micro for more than two years and apart from the fact that the strap broke, the sound and the battery still holds up perfectly... But they need to upgrade to usb-c and better tech! I honestly think they are the best speakers for their size!

No issue since 9 oct 2021 for the old version, regularly use everyday for about 3-4H/day or some times more than 4H

My 1st gen micros made it through an entire year of commuting on my ebike to work. Rain, sleet, snow, ice storms....they still work like new. I will be upgrading though...

I am shocked!!!!!!!! There is a big difference in sound. It is tuned different giving it a much beefier sound not to mention the extra watt and the ability to equalize which the One didn't have. The Micro 2 is different in may ways. It also has Siri. Crazy to say there is no difference.

Will really be excited if you can check out W-king Speakers like the X10 or D10 🙏🙏🙏

Hey man. Can you do a pulse 4 vs charge 5? I have trouble deciding which one to go with. I see that there are other comparisons but i usually watch your videos about jbl and speakers. Thanks!

The charge 5 is the way to go. It is way durable than the Pulse 4. Also sound's way better too

The micro2 sounds better to me.

Attempt to put voice input in order to write this comment. I want to congratulate you for being the first KZread review of the I've ever come this is now the 4th attempt in order to put this comment in via dictation rather than keyboard I do this because I am blind and think it might be more expedient but for attempts later clearly not smile. U2 test speakers that's actually played a reggae track I challenge you to find a KZread reviewer that are reviewing speakers or comparing speakers that actually play reggae tracks I cannot understand this especially when bases involved. The final thing is that I was unable to distinguish between the two speakers in so far as you gave no indication as to which speaker you was playing first and which player was being played secondly can you modify this because you are not the first KZread reviewer to do this in fact everyone I've come across play the speakers I'm very few actually say this is this speaker and this is the other speaker audio due to being blind and take you audio

2 wins overall but 1 sounds better well in off axis listening...

I hope you will review the Tribit stormbox blast. and compare it to jbl boombox 2.🥰
