Finally somebody with the good sense to demo speakers also with human vocals instead of just beats and synths! Thank you! This really gives us a fair chance at deciding what the speakers sound like, based (also) on natural vocals and their typical frequencies. Great choice of demo songs, and a very illustrative comparison. Was contemplating getting one of these two, and now I might just get both. ;-) Why? Because they both have special strengths. As a hobby musician and a passionate audiophile, I‘m getting the impression that the Marshall is tuned for a more realistic, faithful and yet fun presentation (great mids and highs, and enough lows to keep everything balanced) while the Tribet leans a bit more to the „Bose“ sound signature, i.e. more emphasis on the deeper lows and a slight muddiness and lack of detail in the mids and highs. That said, I actually like the Tribet muddiness a lot, and definitely tons more than what Bose is doing. It makes for an easier, more gentle-on-the-ears listen, and still there is quite a bit of detail in the sound. At its lower price point, it‘s surely unbeatable, even if the Marshall is truer to the source. If only the Marshall had a bit more lower-end oomph…but then again, perhaps I can EQ it in that direction. Can‘t wait to try one of both of these out for use in my camper van!

i got the marshall willen, bro the marshall signature mode is best for rock and acoustics but if youre looking for bass then switch to push mode.

I can live with both. Willen has better clarity, Tribit more body. But Tribit is half the price. No brainer. The main criteria for me is which performs better off-axis.
even at 50 % ,the micro had already win in its price class with such almost similar audio. Let alone 70. Its ur choice. Mine definitely micro.

Mine too. I already bought the Willen and I'm really happy with it. :)
If you want the detail as the artist intended, Marshall Willen all day. If you want louder with a little less detail then go for the cheaper Tribit Stormbox Micro. Both good speakers in their own right !
Both sound really good. If I had to choose which sounded best I’d say slight edge to the Willen. But being half the price the Tribit is probably the better value. But there is also build quality and how long it’ll last as a factor. Plus the Tribit is quite ugly IMO.

The sound that sounds good is 50-70%. Turning the volume to 100% can damage the speakers.

No, that would be bad for two reasons. First, he has normalised the sound so you can better hear at comparable loudness how each handles the spectrum. Second, 100% will remove bass. Who plays at 100 and for long anyway, bad for the speaker and way beyond the sweet spot of both speakers

The tribit can be tuned to easily surpass the Marshall with the app. I was amazed at what a difference the app made. I have an outdoor setting, an indoor, and many other styles that i made or researched. Completely changes the sound and output and shows how sonically versatile this little tiny speaker actually is. At this price point, I dont believe anything better exists in this size range

Thats only a gauge. Same volume is same volume. But the "volume level" on the gauge does not tell anything. Only a gauge. Its only a different layout of the potentiometer.

Not exactly. If the a speaker starts to distort at 80 and the other can go to 100 without distortion does the higher volume spectrum really matter.

The mic on the Marshall looks like it’s directed at the very edge of the speaker. What’s with that? To me I prefer the brighter sound of the Marshall. It also looks better. But the Tribid is better value.

Thats exactly what he did. Its physically the same volume, Marshall needs 70% of its amplifier power and Tribit needs 50% of its amplifier power, that results in same volume. Dont you hear that?

@@dancev1798 For what?? 50% is only a number on a wheel or similar, what does it mean for the device?? Nothing. Use your ears (or microphones) and adjust to the same loudness - numbers on a wheel dont care.

Warning! Your Willen will fail just like the rest of Marshall Bluetooth mini speakers! Software corruption suddenly out of nowhere will cause your internal speaker/s to pop and crackle very loudly as if the speaker is ripped/torn making the product a total failed! Mine failed after 3 months of normal use at work! Marshall is trash and they won't even bother to fix it via a firmware knowing this issue is a common one! Chinese TRASH!!! NOTE: The Willen will last you about 7:20 hrs for a full charge and NOT the 15hrs it states..... good for work but sometimes you really don't need to be charging twice in a days of 8hrs work....... nothing but lies and claims from all these small portable speakers! But it does sound way freakin' better than the JBL Clip 4 once you set it to the app equalizer preset "PUSH".....

Very close but the clarity of sound on the Marshall is just better. The price though is a big factor giving the Tribit the edge.
This sound test convinced me to buy the Marshall Willen. Just ordered.

ส่วนตัวชอบ marshall น่ะ ไปฟังตัวจริงมาแล้ว เอาเข้าจริงลำโพงเล็กอย่าคาดหวังที่จะเปิดดังเลย ถ้าชอบเบส ทุ่ม หนัก หน่วง ไปรุ่นแพงกว่านี้ แต่ก็อย่างว่าพอไปฟัง ลำโพงแพงๆมาจะกลับมาฟังพวกนี้ลำบาก เปิดดังหนอกหู เลยชอบเสียงใสๆ เคลียๆ แบบ marshall มากกว่า ถ้าไม่คิดเรื่องราคา ปล. เสียดายklipsh ไม่ทำ carry on bt speaker รุ่นดีๆหน่อย

ฟังยังไงก็ marshall เสียงมาครบย่าน สว่างกว่า ถ้าเปรียบเทียบ tribit เหมือนคุณใส่หูฟังที่มีแต่เบสหนักๆอุดอู้ไม่มีแหลมเลยถ้าฟังเพลงแนวedmมันก็ได้อยู่ แต่ถ้าจะฟังเพลงสบายๆคุณจะได้ยินชัดเลยว่ามันไม่ค่อยมีเสียงแซก

จริงๆแล้วถ้าฟังโดยละเอียดแล้ว...ควรจะเทใจไปถาม marshall ดนตรีสดมากกว่า...เอาจริงๆในหัวที่ผมฟังนะครับถ้าได้ใช้จริง... ลำโพงตัวแค่นี้...รายละเอียดเสียงจะดีแค่ไหน...พอหูคนต้องการการฟังความดัง...รู้สึกเหมือนน่ารำคาญเหมือนกันนะครับเสียงมันจะออกใสกลางเบสหาย...แต่ถ้าเป็น tribit พื้นที่โล่งๆห้องกว้างๆ..เสียงเบสจะทำได้ดีกางนุ่มแหลมมนๆ...เคยอยู่ที่ความชอบรสนิยมเลย...สาวกใครสาวกมันครับ....แต่ชอบเสียงละมุน tribit มากกว่า นี่เป็นความคิดเห็นส่วนตัวนะครับ

เท่าที่เห็นมา คนส่วนใหญ่อาจจะชอบเสียงเบสมากกว่า จึงอาจจะเทใจไปทาง Tribit มากกว่า แต่สำหรับเวลาฟังเพลงไม่ว่าจะแนวไหนผมจะชอบเสียงที่ใสๆ มีสมดุลเบส-กลาง-แหลมที่ไม้แพ้กันมาก ฉะนั้นผมมองว่า Marshall Willen จะตอบโจทย์ผมมากกว่า

marshall for me for the clarity, sick of bassy tuned speakers if want more bass then ill get a bedroom speaker and not a potable one

Because at the same volume, the tribit produces a louder sound.

ผมเป็นคนชอบแบรนดัง แต่งานนี้... ฟังได้นานผมให้ tribit. มาแชลออกหนวกหู แต่ได้ความใส
ผมฟังตัวจริงแบบ flat ไม่ปรับแต่งอะไรเลย ทั้งสองเครื่อง *** Tribit ให้เสียงบาลานซ์ มีความสมดุลย์กว่า ให้เนื้อเสียงดีกว่า สมูธกว่า อิ่มเนียนกว่า ความถี่สูงไม่โด่ง สว่างแยงหู ขาย willen ทิ้งไปแล้วครับ 😅

โดยพื้นฐาน ตัว Microlab X3 น่าจะดีกว่านะครับ เพราะเป็น ระบบ 2.1 มี ลำโพงแยก L/R กับ Sub แยก

@@user-ui4tq7xn6i ถ้าต่อคู่ก็โอเครครับ ได้เวทีเสียงกว้างขึ้นเยอะเลยครับ ส่วน Willen สามารถต่อได้ stack mode ได้มากกว่า 2ตัว ต่อได้มากสูงสุดถึง 100ตัว

Double the price but not even close to 2x better. Best value hands down is the Tribit.

ถ้าพูดถึงแค่สเปก JBL GO 3 สเปกเล็กกว่าไม่น่าจะเอามาเทียบกันได้นะครับ (Go3 4.3 w , willen มัน 10W)ถ้าเป็นตัวflip 5 น่าจะพอมาชนกันได้

такие маленькие динамики в любом случае хорошо играть не будут. это физически не возможно. надо динамики больших размеров.

Sony XB100 Bluetooth canister speaker blows both of them away…Sony quality is back and I couldn’t be happier! I have XE200 as well!

Marshall willen destroyed all mini speaker . Best best ever . I think you don't like clean music 😂
Shame they have to use such awful "music"
Warning! Your Willen will fail just like the rest of Marshall Bluetooth mini speakers! Software corruption suddenly out of nowhere will cause your internal speaker/s to pop and crackle very loudly as if the speaker is ripped/torn making the product a total failed! Mine failed after 3 months of normal use at work! Marshall is trash and they won't even bother to fix it via a firmware knowing this issue is a common one! Chinese TRASH!!! NOTE: The Willen will last you about 7:20 hrs for a full charge and NOT the 15hrs it states..... good for work but sometimes you really don't need to be charging twice in a days of 8hrs work....... nothing but lies and claims from all these small portable speakers! But it does sound way freakin' better than the JBL Clip 4 once you set it to the app equalizer preset "PUSH".....
