Well Mustafa gets nervous when meat is mixed in because he worries that it won't be halal or it will be 'city people food' like from factory farms. He doesn't worry as much about mixed vegetables and desserts

Gordon Ramsey might come across as always angry and coarse, but thats actually only in the kitchen. He also makes some travel videos, where he goes to places all around the world, and is taught to cook the local food from the local people. On these video he's always friendly and respectful - and funny. I DO believe that Gordon Ramsay would love to come to Mustafas village ( if He had the time ), and learn about simplicity, and how to cook everything on charcoal

Yes, he can show his monster side to many people often leaving them crying, upset and dismayed. Because of that I don’t watch him at all.

If that's the grilled cheese shamed around the world, I actually support Mustafa completely in his decision. That 'sandwich' was an abomination.

He used 2 hard cheeses, cut the cheeses too thick anyways, then he cut the bread too thick, then he really burnt the sandwich while the cheese never melted, then to top it off: he added kimchi for no reason. And he tried to pretend the grilled cheese was good. The video's on youtube, "Gordon Ramsay's Ultimate Grilled Cheese Sandwich". Very embarassing.

Gordon is actually a nice guy who always takes the time to genuinely praise quality owners, waiters/waitresses and chefs. His criticisms of incompetent owners and restaurant workers is often rightfully justified. So I feel like him and Mustafa in particular would get along very well!

Let me elaborate. Goats and sheep are quite valuable for tribal people, but they also love the sound of Gun when it is fired, only if that is their gun, and the shots are fired for fun, so her wife praised him that he has got a best deal as the sound of fired gun is better than a goat. This story has a deepened cultural connection, which is hard to grasp at first.

While I enjoyed the comparison too, "what type of monster (ballah) is this?," is a common expression in that part of the world. Ballah is often used to describe anything that one has never heard of.

It would be awesome if you did a "Cooking with Mama" episode of him making some of the traditional food that he talks about.

I can't get over the fact that Mustafa, Mehboob, and Manzoor, are some of my favorite people, and i've never met them.

I've eaten in one of his restaurants (one of the really posh ones too!) and the food was excellent, Mustafa would appreciate the way many dishes are prepared there, high quality ingredients allowed to speak for themselves through excellent preperation. Tell you what though, I'm lucky it was a prize, otherwise I probably wouldn't have been able to eat there!!

When Mahboob said 'Gold Melt' for 'Gordon's Ultimate Grilled Sandwich, I thought it was a good description of grilled sandwich. Those are my favourite comfort food, so easy to cook & when soo hungry, it's so satisfying.
