As a first generation Mongolian American I am thrilled that this band is becoming a worldwide sensation. Just the fact that they are using Native Instruments in such a way and adapting them to rock and roll is just incredible. You should hear them do the Metallica covers pretty freaking awesome.

Another "global" sensation from Mongolia that I love watching, Batzorig Vaanchig, prompted KZread recommendations to introduce this great band to me. And a young Mongolian band, here in WA state, ZJE. 3 siblings who play traditional Mongolian music Good stuff comes out of that country
Throat singing is one of the most amazing vocal phenomena humans have created. HU is just plain awesome carrying this tradition forward while much of the world emulates western pop music.

I like Throatsinging but i like Mainstream music too
Speaking of Mongolia and mother/child bonds, I recently saw the docu film "The Tale of the Weeping Camel", I think it would really fascinate the tribal people.

10:40 true definition. That kind of throat singing (whistling) symbolises the crying. In the central asia called as 'sygyt' means 'crying'.

Thank you for explaining!
I have loved the Hu since I first found them. Wolf Totem is amazing!
Shireg Shireg is a wonderful song and when my niece was very young, I would play it for her and she would sleep. I have since played it for her baby sister and she has fallen asleep too
Listening to this song you can even hear the horse hooves as they ride since it is about a warrior riding his horse and away from home and about and his parents admonition to him to find strength to face and overcome adversity when living the life of a warrior riding among the Horde and how his parent will wait for him and welcome him home when he returns this is one of my favorite songs.

Music, no language barrier The singer's voice and instruments are in deep Harmony ❤ Abdul azeez is correct, fiddle can talk like human🙏 And selection music video is wonderful
I've seen a few Mongolian/Tuvan bands. It strikes me that their music very much reflects the ponies that they ride. The music has a quick gallop, like the short stride of the ponies that they ride on the steppes. The USA western/cowboy music tends toward having a more languid, laid back, longer stride rhythm to it - like the bigger horses that they ride. Huun-Huur-Tu are worth a listen.

@@Enviro-Erin yeah, great band. Seen them a good few times, in tiny and large venues. They were good at the BBC Radio World Music Awards in Hackney a fair few years back. They had a female singer too. Johnny Depp was at that gig. He gave out an award.

A very cool observation!
I always try to watch as many foreign movies and TV shows as I can. In lieu of traveling, it's still eye opening.
Abdul seems so sweet and wise. He always has something profound to share.
Hello trybals,, I've been watching this channel since for about 9months. Each time I honestly am learning the contents of this channel....things I never knew existed...thank you thank you....my first time to comment today...
Great edit on this video! For those who want to see more antics from our beloved brother Muharam, please do check out the Patreon material, it is amazing to see his energy! Very happy to see each of the four team members again, sharing their feelings on The Hu and their music.
Wow! That's the kind of music that bypasses language barriers to get straight to that universal core within all humans. I thought it was very lovely and evocative. It got me choked up, though I also imagined how easy it would be for a room full of people to swing about in joyful dance.
Music and food bring cultures from far apart together in joy.

I like Cultural exchange and I am also curious about other cultures.
It’s funny when she says “a small beating” will scare evil spirits away (I think she means a pretend spanking). In some cultures, people avoid saying a baby is pretty, or will even say it’s ugly - so this doesn’t make evil spirits jealous.
@jiaunmew878

In Asian culture when a child is sickly they will dress them in the opposite gender to let the spirit know they got the wrong child. My cousin have to cross dress until he turn 20 😂 He nearly died few times, uncle had him dressed up since 3 years old. Now he’s healthy successful businessman and married and have 4 grand children.

So happy to see Riaz is back!! 👏😃 I hope things are going well for him! Great video, glad they liked it and interesting that Parvati like the flute, I wish you could’ve got her to sing!l🎤Lol she likes heavy music and flute, show her Ian Anderson, he’s in the band Jethro Tull. Was that you throat singing in the background?

I have loved this band from the first moment I heard them and wish for their success because they are amazing and totally talented and they are not only great musicians but great people too ❤️🔥. Totally love them and their music
What a beautiful song to choose for this - the haunting plaintive melody reaches across cultures and languages... ...speaks to the soul in its native tongue, raw emotion
Nice one! Very interesting music and the group seemed to enjoy it. Glad to see Parvati looking more upbeat and participating!
9:57 Yes, both of you are correct. Sygyt is throat singing but its more of a throat whistling. It allows for the seemingly impossible ability to generate 2 - 3 notes simultaneously. It will always blow my mind to know that sound is made by a human being. It's amazing.
do you have a video where we can learn their names? I've seen quite a few but still haven't learnt them all. Thanks for this great content! Much love from the Netherlands.
I love how these wonderful people really get into music. Fun to watch.
I love The Hu!!! I am very sad. They just played in my area last night but I couldn't afford tickets. They are amazing! I would love an opportunity to spend a few hours with you talking music!!! You listen to a lot of good bands!
i love how the "shhhh" expression is used in Altai singing
So beautiful 😍 So glad we get to watch this with them
I like how respectful every interviewee is with questions and then they give their uninterrupted responses. If only American audiences were the same way
I really hope they enjoy these :)
Yay, so happy to see The Hu being reviewed here. I’ve been extremely interested to see what your group would have to say about this group. I was lucky to finally see them live a couple weeks ago. Wonderful performance and I was especially excited because it was the first rock concert for two of my kids so it was some excellent exposure in music. For me, music can be extremely moving. I like some Opera as well, I don’t have to know what the words are saying, I can feel them and witness the emotion on stage. Watching the videos The Hu puts out does help as they have subtitles and the videos are really good at telling a story, but even without that, it’s very good music.
This is my favorite song of theirs!
Thank you for introducing us to different music from other cultures. It is always great to see the Mahuram, Abdul, Mahamad and Parvati listen intently and make great comments about what they have heard and seen. Another great video. My best wishes to you all and your families.
One of my favorite songs of the last few years. Very cool to have this show up in my sub feed. I just wish you would have chosen the SiriusXM live studio recording which is a higher quality version and, I think, a much more powerful and moving performance. I would urge people to check it out as well :) Much love from Sweden
@10:37 He's right on point, it's like a farewell song to a soldier
Watching their reactions is always such a joy. This is my favorite HU song, it not only has magically wonderful music- the words are touching and beautiful telling a story of family love, strength, adventure and coming home. I’m rather saddened that the Trybals didn’t get the full experience.
I didn't know the song so I may say I reacted together with you LOL Great video, as always, it's so interesting to see the different views and personalities shine through. PS It's nice to see Riaz back.
That was a nice reaction again. 🙂 Greetings to your great team from Finland. ☺️
I like when he said 'this art is worth learning'. fantastic statement. What GREAT music and sound these guys have. wow.
Excellent video! Welcome back Mohammed Riaz! I hope some day you will also show them videos of Inuit throat singing (Tanya Tagaq is great). I also have read that places in Italy and South Africa have throat singing, they're next on my list. I also think you guys would enjoy native american music, Peruvian music, and Australian didgeridoo. Thanks again for the great content ❤️
If you wouldn't mind a request sir, please react to the music video for "My Nemesis" by Five Finger Death Punch. It is an amazing song with a lot of pain & meaning behind it, My Nemesis is about being lost and alone when everyone leaves you. Thankyou for the cultural insight this channel offers.
This word not only lullaby. Its also blessing song to a grown child who leave their home and parents behind him/her.
Very wise, it makes me feel connected to all of you

WOW. I appreciate very much that you show other cultures here as well. I very much enjoyed this music! I love it. I wanted to listen to it while sleeping, so I know it works. Fabulous music.
Mohammad Riazz is back!
The cello is the closest instrument to the human voice.
Good music needs no translation. It transcends mere words.
you should show them "Basotho Violin(zulu on strings) sekhankula" video on youtube or any other basotho violin music which is a stringed violin instrument made from a metal gas can, and has adjustable pitch by pulling the string itself. very interesting sounds resonate through the metal can which combines with the singing, which is strangely similar to the mongolian music even though they are from a different continent, they are both mountainous people living in cold areas which could explain the similarities
RIAZ! 😁 yay.
Please introduce them to Artists Then, Now, & Forever! They loved We Are The World, so I just know they would love that one too!❤️
it's so cool to find kinship with people from other places and cultures
The woman’s clothing and jewelry is absolutely gorgeous.
The studio looks amazing! Love the quality of this video wow! Great to see Mohammad Riaz Jutt again!
I have been enjoying this channel of seeing reactions and hearing from people with a different culture. I would love to hear the viewpoints on the music video Wrong Side of Heaven by Five Finger Death Punch. It's about the difficulties veteran soldiers often face after returning home from war in America. This band has many songs supporting soldiers. I am very curious about how the reactors' culture treat and view returning soldiers. Thank you for your enlightening content. Abdul Aziz Rind especially has given me many pieces of wisdom throughout this series. 😊
I love The HU! So good...
I noticed that Abdul is very silent during his viewing of these videos. A very wise man indeed.
Loved their conversations!!
Very nice! thank you all.
Thank you.
Greetings from Canada. It would be very nice to see you all react to a Band called Tool. They mix Heavy Metal with Tribal Rhythms, Sounds, and Instruments. There Lyrics are also very profound. I would personally recommend these songs: Lateralus, Reflection, Right in Two, Fear Inoculum. Thank you, and have a Blessed Day.

a small beating a day keeps the evil sprits away love it.
another amazing video!!! I would personally love to see them react to All Too Well (10 minutes version) by Taylor Swift. They will be able to understand the video as well and will get to know one of the most popular female singers in the world!!
Please, make a reaction of Planet Caravan from Black Sabbath, I think they would love the amazing relaxing music and the poetry of the lyrics. Thank you so much, I love your channel, it has become one of my favourites 🙏💖
Would love to see you guys react to Disturbed - The Animal its a great song and I'm sure you guys would love it ♡
"A small beating would do" 🤣
Just look folks, look how Sir Abdul "Chacha" is perceiving. He looks at art with an open heart but when it comes to describing it he is not "all-out", he choosing his words carefully and wise. Truly powerful is the one that reached top of his power but uses it in the right way. Balance.
Please consider having them react to Matthias Duplessy and Violins of the World - Crazy Horse. I'm sure they'd love it.
They should watch "The Click Song" by Miriam Makeba! It's sung in Xhosa, a language with clicks.
I would love conversation with Abdul Aziz Rind
Please put a Brazilian song by a very dear artist called Tim Maia. I suggest the song ''Ela partiu - Tim Maia''
Andre Antunes' mashup of power metal and Pakistani qawwali with Rahet Fateh Ali Khan's voice. You guys need to react to that.
You should have them react to demolishes by slaughter to prevail 😂
Hello Trybals, I just wanted to request you to react and check out the band DYMBUR, the song 'Back Home' they play #indianfolkmetal and write songs on heavy subject matter. This song is based on Child prostitution & Human rights.
is it possible to have them react to "black is the color of my true loves hair" by peter hollens? its quite a beautiful song.
Mohammad has felt it right: It's again a soldier on the horseback, between the battles, remembers his parents, kya usko pita ji aur ma ji ne bata diya hain. "Chu" is a command to horse to move on! Sukriya
You need to introduce them to the Alash Ensemble!
Nice!
Do you think you can get them to listen to the band PoorMansPoison, the song Father's Lament. It's about a man being a father, whom I assume is nearing his death giving his final words to his children.
