@@pabloc.5186 Why do you put so much "maybes" on facts? We are more hateful and dangerous and destructive than lions or any animal for that matter. There's no "maybe" about that. Thing is, if a lion were to stay in a room with a human, the human would have more chances of killing the lion (or *wanting* to kill the lion, I should say) than the other way around. Because human ignorance is what keeps on killing these animals (and nature itself) more than the lion's ignorance. It is a truth, proven by many numbers: humans are more dangerous to lions (AND to other humans) than lions are dangerous to humans. 600 lions are killed every year by humans. 22 humans are HURT every year by lions. 475,000 people are killed by other people every year. Oh and fyi: "72 billion land animals and over 1.2 trillion aquatic animals killed around the world every year." (and that's JUST FOR FOOD, so you add all the abandoned pets, all the abused animals, all the wild animals (il)legally killed). Come again with your "maybes". Also saying no one would dare stay in a room with lions under a video about a dude staying in rooms with lions and hugging them and stuff... it... doesn't make sense. There are people out there who do choose to stay in rooms with lions, and they're fine. Thing is, humans never cared about learning anything about these animals or their social system (yknow... because "wild animals dumb and dangerous, wild animals ruh duuuh"). Yes, if you invade an animal's safe space, and they don't feel safe or comfortable, they WILL attack you. It goes for dogs, cats, serpents, spiders, lions, anything. There are humans who have been accepted among lions' prides, such as Kevin Richardson. There are humans who are part of wolf packs or elephant families. Who can touch and live with these animals, pet bears and sharks and whatever. It's just reductive to call these animals "dangerous" just because you're not part of their system, or because they don't WANT you here (for example: safaris, invading these animals' territories, then making the news because the tourists got attacked).

@@MARYWTHER Phew I see that you have completely missed my point. No one is denying what you said. That is obvious. I agree with that. But we don't seem to be talking about the same thing here. So let's talk about definitions first. Because the key here is that we both need to agree upon the definition of "dangerous". Any species in the world would absolutely destroy its environment if it's relationship with it is unbalanced. It's not something exclusive to us humans. That's why I said before that for example, an invasive frog, fish, insect or rodent could absolutely wreck an ecosystem, killing millions of individual animals and plants as a result, either directly or indirectly, and they have in the past. Yet you wouldn't generally say that a frog is more dangerous than a lion. (Unless it's a super poisonous frog ofc) Why? Because when we ask how dangerous is an animal we generally interpret the question as "what danger is it to a human to be in the immediate vicinity of said animal?" That means 2 things: what are the chances of you being attacked? And what are the potential risks if it does, in fact, attack you?. Of course you may not agree with my definition of dangerous, but you can't deny its generally what people mean when referring to an animal as more or less dangerous. So okay, regarding the first one. Yes, animals are not senseless beasts that attack without reason, that's such an obvious thing to say. But the fact is that a lion can kill you VERY EASILY, even by playing, even if it didn't mean to. It's much more difficult for a human to be sure that a lion won't attack that it is for him to be sure that a human won't attack him. You can reason with a human (generally speaking), you can come to an agreement with a human, a hungry human won't normally eat your face off, because it assigns a value to human life. And even if it does attack you, it will rarely be with killing intent. You have millions of interactions with other humans, yet here you are, I wonder if you would be here if you had had as many interactions with a wild lion. Second. If it does indeed attack you, all things equal, you would have a lot more chances surviving the attack of another human, than the attack of a lion. I don't think there's much explanation needed here. The fact that this man is famous for being so close with lions is evidence in itself for it being something people wouldn't normally dare to do. Btw, I know what said in my previous comments were obviously facts. Saying "maybe" is just a figure of speech, it's not that I'm not sure about what I'm saying, it means that I am acknowledging them as facts. I thought it was obvious, but apparently it's not. I found it hilarious that you focused on it so much. Maybe it's not well said? It's possible because English is my second language, and it may be a figure of speech that isn't normally used in english. My bad then. Anyway, have a nice day.

I've got to give a ton of credit to the 'producer' or the guy in the back talking. This channel does an incredible job and stopping at the right moments, giving clarity when it's needed and making sure they get what's happening. The message can get lost if they're not fluent in english and you guys are great at this. :)

Kevin has known all the lions at his sanctuary since they were cubs. He saved them from the canned hunting industry in South Africa. Kevin also has the Kevin Richardson Foundation to help conserve wild lions.

@Miles Doyle really dont want to detory you on this channel, free it takes away what this channel is about but what you've written I can prove a load of crap. actually have in my 20 years studying theology and history. simple things like, well his name wasn't jesus, it was Jeshua, he was not the Messiah and not born in Bethlehem, he never said he was son of god he did say he was descendant from the kings of Jerusalem, and was working with zeolots to get the puppet priests out of the temple. that is why he was crusified. oh and the god you talk about is an old Sumerian god, not isreali, they took the idea of three gods when they went through the lands of Canaan, they eventually dropped two and stuck with the one you currently follow. it didn't come to them, they didn't find it, they heard tales about the god and they took those tales and made them there own. same with the story of Noah, it's take from an old Sumerian tale. there are so many thing wrong, I could spend all day pointing them out with facts, but this really isn't the site for this.

I mean it'd be next to impossible to tame grown Lions as Kevin has done with the lion's he has now but bringing them up since cubs as he did, but its still a damn hard job, which btw he succeeded in doing so...kudos to him and more success to him

I really love Kevin, he does fantastic work and he never pretends like he has some supernatural skill to talk to lions or some garbage, he always makes it clear that he can only interact with his lions that way because he's known and raised them since they were cubs. All he wants to do is give them a better quality of life and to teach other people about lions and lion conservation.

Plus he's become very adept at reading them and their moods and also knows when to back off and leave them be. And they know instinctively that he likes them and cares about them.

I'm South African and having been watching your Tribals for a while now. We all react the same way to this video. I did play with 3 month old lion cubs once in my life, and I promise you they're not pets... This guy is special. Somewhat crazy. It's wonderful to see the behaviour of the lions with him.

Each of these people are beautiful and unique. What a wonderful group you've assembled. I love to hear their opinions and wisdom.

Yes let's come back to that sweet era in which 1 child out of 2 didn't reach 15 years old and in which life expectancy was 30 yo. You would probably be already dead if some people in the past didn't try to figure out a way to rule nature. Nature is a battlefield, there is no place for well-being in it, just competitiveness, ruthlessness. Not realizing what we owe to modern society is ignorance. Of course, we can try to respect nature more than we're doing now, that's a given. But it's another matter.

this would only work if you were with them while they were very young, like in this case. higher order mammalian brains are pretty close to the same complexity as humans, so they go through the same sort of psychological development as children. they go through a bonding phase through infancy to early childhood or cubhood rather, and will associate the one with them during that phase as being their parent, in every case, for the rest of their life. the study was even done with a baby chimp and a "mechanical mother" that was basically just a metal puppet. The chimp associated the puppet as its mother throughout its whole life, and would always go to it when it was around.

You can tell that even though Mukhtiar may not have had the amazing life-changing realization that Muharam had during the “trying to follow a Bob Ross tutorial” episode (still such an amazing moment; I’ve thought of it several times since seeing it!), it’s quite clear that Mukhtiar really felt deep down in his soul “Ustad” Bob Ross’s message of peace and a love of nature. He speaks about the life lessons Bob Ross brought up in both of your episodes fairly frequently. 😁 It may not be as memorable of a tale as finding a hidden gift you never knew you had, but to carry Bob Ross’s teachings with you through life will serve your soul well and help you achieve inner peace. PS: in the beginning, poor Muharam looks like he’s about to have a panic attack! 😆It’s terrifying seeing these huge beasts leap on a man like that. You can see him raise and flex his hands up unconsciously in a defensive gesture when the lion is about to tackle the man in the video!

Man, I just saw Kevin Richardson for the first time a few days ago and now you upload this 😂 Also, I completely agree about animals not being deceitful and hypocrites. (there are bad animals just like there are bad people, but compared to us these animals are way too innocent)

I've been subscribed and following Kevin's story since day one , he is the real thing and his lions and other animals at his sanctuary are so lucky to have him he's a hero to so many ,

I absolutely love the expression on Mohammed Jutt's face as he watched this video. The joy, amazement and wonder was so amazing. This entire group shows how nature is/should be a part of us, not something to control.

I agree. The look of wonder, amazement and joy is what you'd find in a child. He has a gentle heart.

Cats - even house cats - are way more sensitive and clever than people give them credit for. My uncle worked at a cat rescue place and they all basically have the same behaviour and triggers, once you understand their body language and behaviour and accommodate it while slowly pushing the boundaries its incredibly easy to form bonds with them. They just take a lot longer to develop the trust that a house cat or dog would.

The way Mohammed Riaz reacted, I'd say you have your own lion whisperer. What Mukhtiar Ahmed said is correct, humans are the most dangerous animal in the world.

Those of us that already know what Kevin Richardson does are not surprised by the video. The sincere and kind reactions of the people watching the video are fantastic. They all seemed to be very kind people that are in touch with genuine emotion. Great video. Thank you.

What that gentleman said about humans is absolutely correct. Also Kevin Richardson and what he does with Lions, Hyenas, and Leopards is amazing. Kevin is definitely a special human being. I learned to see hyenas differently because of Kevin and the relationship he has with them. I also learned a lot about the canned petting/hunting trade that happens through some of his videos.

First time I've seen the older guy genuinely like something he was presented with! Great to see!

He's become part of the pride since they were babies... takes time and trust, and most important... LOVE & EFFECTION...

Thank you for doing this work. It brings so much good to the world. It's so nice to see how people instantly understands a new perspective on life as long as they have a good heart and an open mind. I love all these people and especially you who make these videos. It's so cool to think that you and me are so very similar as we both have "Internet" as our culture. We kind of live in the same land even though we live in totally different parts of the world.

i used to watch this guys youtube channel, those lions are in enclosures, he raised most of them to populate them he goes on walks with them and stuff, even other animals like hyennas and jaguars if i remember correctly

I just love this series. Keep it coming. I have never been to India or Pakistan and probably never will, but these people are doing more to foster friendship and understanding between different cultures than any diplomat. Thank you.

I would enjoy seeing them react to some of these comments. They strike me as endearing and joyful people, and it's so wonderful to get to know them. All humans crave understanding and connection. How wonderful to live in a time that we can see people from all over the world and discover them to be so relatable. Also, please show Parvati some cooking videos or get her some cookbooks! I share her love of trying new foods and trying to cook them. I wish that I could make a meal for her and she could teach me some of her cooking as well.

The lions he hangs out with are very socialized to people or at least to him. In one of his uploads there was one that had not been socialized under his care and he was much more cautios around that one.

To see the reaction of these people to the video and see the awe in their eyes is priceless. Kevin has been my hero since the first time I saw his videos.

I simply love these videos... I love how real these people seem while reacting, and also how they are able to obtain knowledge while describing their own prejudices and perspectives ... plus the all seem like genuinely "good" people!!!!

he didn't just "come to see them from time to time and they treated him like part of their pride." That is a complete misrepresentation of what he does. He runs a lion sanctuary and he is there every day (not just from time to time) and the lions he is close to are ones whom he raised from cubs after their parents were killed by poachers, were abandoned, were rescued from poachers etc. He would NEVER try to insinuate himself into a fully wild pride of lions. he knows what they are, how powerful they are and has a ton of respect for them and how they live.

You look at circuses, they train the animals to behave in a certain way and do tricks, the same thing for the two "magicians" in Vegas who did the same thing with lions/tigers. The whole thing is built on trust with him, and knowing his place. Dudes an anomaly with his ability to read animals like he does.

I've been watching Kevin Richardson for YEARS now. He's an amazing man. :) I love the lions.

I've only watched a few videos but I've subscribed to TRYBALS and will keep on watching. I want to say how much I love ♥️ these people! Their responses are from their heart. To me, the big man with the black half beard looked a little scary when I saw him on the first video. But his heart is HUGE! I live his responses and the light in his eyes, his delight in watching this especially!!! The lady looks so sad throughout this video but I think she was just very thoughtful. I honestly love them all. Thank you SO much, TRYBALS, for these videos. Words can't begin to express how I feel and the fellowship I feel with these people.

I love these videos, as well as the other villager, tribal people videos! I love the kindness and gentleness that these men display!

Such lovely people. In the West, most of the time when we see people who look and dress like these in the media, it is in a threatening context. These videos do a wonderful job of humanizing them to us. They're just regular people, with the same struggles and hopes we have. Very nice to see.

The ending of this video!!! Is what I truly needed Tonight!!!!!!!!!! Especially when they talked about the poachers and how far away they hunt from like cowards!!!! And recognizing this man as a strong hero! I didn't expect these men would say that!!!! I feel more relaxed now ! Thanks keep up the good work!!! 🙏 amen!

I'm so happy this came up in my feed. It's sad when we (people will full internet access) are so desensitized through over-saturation of videos, we can overlook how spectacular it is that a human can interact with a lion pride in such a way. Also I love the older gentleman who keeps pointing out the heart of the matter. - If they see him with a stick, they might attack him - Animals are more faithful. Humans are cruel and hypocrites at times. Animals could never be hypocrite. - (In response to 'what would you say to poachers') This is real bravery, they just kill innocent animals. It's very straight to the point, something we lack daily.

Kevin leeds a good example of communing with nature, but not interfering with it. He's become part of the pride without making them dependent on him or robbing them of their natural instincts.

I love these people, they have a lot of wisdom. Most people are so uninterested and superficial these days where I live (Canada)

I love the smile and laughter. The knowledge shared by the people is crucial to future generations and development of those.

To be fair, none of Kevin's animals, including his lions are wild. He raised them all from cubs and has a park dedicated to his animals. I personally love Kevin.

You do such a great job communicating with them the context behind the video.

I love how quickly these Tribal members lose their preconceptions, and how quickly they fall in love with Kevin as we have. Thank you Kevin, for being the Steve Irwin of big cats and other species, as well as your education efforts for those of us who have only seen these beauties on safari or in zoo's. As well as not talking down to us. Cheers from Texas, USA!

Maybe a map on the wall that they put pins in for every video they've seen? Mr Rogers would be Pennsylvania. Bob Ross would be Indiana... Kevin would be in south Africa etc... That could be kind and of fun for them. To watch the map fill up!

There was some great footage of a Lioness taking him to meet her young cubs and allowing him to sit with and pick them up, the greatest show of faith and trust in him. The footage is somewhere.

:55 Did my man actually mention Bob Ross? Thats amazing that Bob Ross has touched people from really very different cultures like that. Bob Ross was indeed a good man and I really wish I wouldve had the honor of meeting him before he left us.

The most wholesome and insightful channel on KZread! As a South African, I was surprised that they seemed to know about such a country, there were no questions...

My family has always worked with full blooded wolves and I learned to work with foxes(vulpine). My husband works with coyotes which I had formerly no experience with and they are the most loving, gentle, intelligent, loyal animals. In the beginning I was terrified but my husband showed me how to relate to them and now I consider them family. Foxes(vulpines)are a different and take a very different approach, after 21yrs together my husband knows how to react to a fox but cannot do the vocalization like I can.

Bob Ross got a shout out, Bob Ross was such a gentle man.
