Tribal Fusion Belly Dance Flow Class - Serpentine Studies - FREE SAMPLE CLASS
::: SERPENTINE SCHOOL: THE COMPLETE TRIBAL FUSION BELLY DANCE TRAINING
Train with me online:

SERPENTINE ROUTINES are 30 minute flows that combine deep stretching, targeted strengthening, no nonsense drilling of the fundamentals, and drilling of some of my favorite and most used pathways and combos. I've combined key dance and embodiment elements into a sequence with the aim to cover a lot of essential elements in a short amount of time to keep your strength, flexibility, technique and vocabulary on point. Yes, this is what my training looks like most of the time - followed with a freeflow sesh.
You don't need a warmup as your body will get warm with these active stretching techniques and some strengthening thrown in there. The routine begins with my ALL TIME favorite movement for opening up the hip area in every direction, which has been my 'secret' for big juicy hip work (I do these circles a few times throughout the day, especially when I have long bouts of sitting which is killer for your mobility. This simple movement really helps keeping things nice n loose). My other favorite is also in there: big spinal waves. Haven't found another exercise that is as effective for gaining spinal fluidity and control as this one.
Drilling of the fundamentals; sometimes it's good to step out of the combos and get back to the bare essentials if you want to really master technique. Foundation. Is. Everything.
Last but not least; pathways - key to dance learning and accelerating the learning and skill building process. In this sequence you get a little taster!
** This class is meant for INTERMEDIATE level dancers - if you want a detailed breakdown of every move I have a complete beginners course in the studio. **
This is a free sample class for those wanting to know what I teach in my online studio, and though it's hard to give an example because my teaching ranges from focusing on one element for 30 minutes to flows like this - Serpentine Routines are my favorite!
More videos ranging from 10 to 90 minutes in my studio: Patreon.com/SerpentineStudies - 4 classes a month for a couple bucks.
Let me know if you enjoyed this routine and want more!

I AGREEEEEEEE!!! SUCH RELIEF! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Wow this is an incredible gift for all of us to learn the basics. Thank you so much for sharing! I always attempt to dance like this as I practice ecstatic dancing. It is the way my body naturally wants to move, but never knew of tribal fusion until about a month ago.

This was SO hard I am so humbled, was terrible at everything/couldn’t do any combos…and I consider myself a good dancer with rhythm etc. Really shoved the concept of beginner down my throat, and I am so grateful! Sucks but necessary lol

Have you improved?
That's the same studio where I learned my beginners and intermediate classes in my twenties. The first thing they always teach to loosen the hips is the full moon circle or half moon techniques. I later continued classes with Bozenka. Shakira's teacher in Miami. Bozenka was Tamalen Dallads student. The founder of middle Eastern dance exchange.

Thank you so much for this vidéo... very well done with the mirror its perfect to see all the movement !!!
Loving this video and it's helping with my lower back pain. Thank you, ladies. Beautifully done.
Need more of this. Love this modality of dance.
Wow this is amazing...so glad I finally discovered this!! You can feel the synchronization of their energies.... so beautiful!!
Great moves! Loved your pace, and the way you have explained all moves. The mirror helps to see clearly all the bends. I had been learning belly dance from last few years. Joined a professional school earlier, right now working out by myself. Coming across your channel is really helpful and fun. :) Cheers! Keep dancing! :)
I love your playlist! Fun to play with your moves xx
It’s been years since I’ve been fully able to still call myself a dancer but this is the PERFECT refresher for when I’m feeling stiff and rusty
Can't thank you enough for this, it is my new favorite class!
Finding this class made my morning!!! Thank you for making this available! I would absolutely love to be able to follow along better, with more voiceovers and descriptions of each exercise. Thank you so much.

Can anyone help me with gaining knowledge on this lifestyle & appearance? I absolutely adore it but where do people that dress like this(mostly white people where I live in the Bay Area, Ca) get their inspiration? I need someone to interview this beautiful community & change my life with a documentary. 😍
@captainusopp6349

D B they get their inspirations from other cultures lol. it’s actually quite disrespectful because they don’t take the time to learn or appreciate the meaning behind any of it, they just slap it on because they think it looks cool.
@foxsaint1051

@@captainusopp6349 YOU should take some time to learn the history of 'white' people.. this style of hair and dress dates back to the ancient British, Gaul, germanic, and norse tribes.. ancient Celts looked very similar.. she probably feels very natural and herself this way.. its disrespectful of YOU to make ASSumptions and judgments of people you do not know... js

I was curious too! I was wanting to hear more specifics about what should be moving/stay still, what should the correct posture be, etc. I'm sure the online class is worth it, just can't afford it at all in This The Time of Planetary Plague, made worse by the woeful hatching of This The Time of Trumpian Protest Against Known Effective Prevention of this Pox Upon the Poor and Infirm. (T.T.T.P.P. and T.T.T.P.A.K.E.P.P.U.P.I. - pronounced t-t-t-peepee and t-t-t-pack-eh-puh-poopie" ) and so I must gather info where I can with my greedy lil ears and eyeballs.
Gorgeous.
