The length of the traditional sessions felt so prohibitive BUT NOW I CAN FINALLY CATCH UP TO THIS SERIES. If they do this for every season, I'll be a flipping super fan. hahaha

See for me it wasn't even the length of the episodes it was all of the dead time where nothing is really happening that triggers my ADHD brain. These first two episodes have been amazing because everything keeps moving and I feel like I can focus so much better.

@@Slouworker I think it is. I’ve certainly had a good time. Ups and downs? Sure. Each campaign has them. It’s not as bad as some naysayers say, though. In my experience many of them are just biased people who came in at c2 and are struggling with moving onto something new. As someone who has binged them one after the other, and don’t have a particular bias because of where I came in, I see no real decrease as drastic as some claim. In fact, I find c3 to be tighter and less aimless than c2.

Abridged has the energy of say, Marisharaygun's clip videos but not just the moments that make us want to sing or die. This is a great way to get caught up or refresh. It's a Dani Approved Critical Role Chilton manual. I'll miss Marisharaygun's videos but these are a good and more lore focused substitute.

😊❤ I would like to say that I have absolutely no idea what it takes to be an editor or the editing department at Critical Role but I understand it’s a hefty job to do. I also understand at times as critters. We get very hungry for content and I know a lot of people have been making comments about editing campaign, one and two I can totally understand the work involved in that. So all I can say on my behalf only if at some point in the future, it is actually possible. It would be fantastic but if there’s no plan for that it’s OK we love any content you guys are willing to give us.

Its hilarious that the abridged version skips the original intro because now those who didnt want the original will be so confused as to why everyone is dressed the way they are. 😆

😊❤ I cannot stop praising the production work on this episode because I can kind of tell where you guys kind of go off script and start making jokes and stuff but because of the way it’s edited. It is so tight that you can’t see it man you guys are really, really good at your job.

From what I read on Beacon: I think KZread is getting the first 2-4 this weekend, but then will go weekly. Beacon has 12 or 13 eps already and get 2 eps per week.

I love that we are getting these condensed episodes, I can rewatch what ive seen and catch up to where i keft off awhile ago. However I will say I miss some of the game elements in combat. I like hearing the attack rolls, saving throws, and damage. Im sure that eats up a lot of time though

5 hrs is great but this is much better for people with busy life's. More people could catch up

So i think ive listened to well over 300 epsiodes of cr between campaigns and one shots and i know thats not alot nore does my opinion matter or to take away from the other epsiodes wtch i enjoy alot. The trail by firelight epsiode of camign three has been my pwrsonal favorite for many reasons. Tha k you for all that you do and letting me share my thoughts love you all may these stories make day to day that much easer to face for all of us.
