    My triad that I've been learning with is Hansa Yellow, Pyrrol Scarlet, and Fr.Ultramarine.

    Interesting but this is certainly not my understanding of a traditional triad which would give you more of a range of colors for a painting, like Brenda discussed. As I remember the old Daniel Smith triads, they were more along this line…somewhat of a yellow, some type of a red, and some sort of a blue, all of which created an interesting range of the secondaries, not just a brownish color.
