TheTrueFortress Same dude!! I hate soft snares. They blend in with the guitars and its hard to hear it itself. I like Piccolo snares and hard snares in general. The snare drum on the studio album "War Of Attrtion" is perfect! Best snare I ever heard and my favorite snare sound ever!

I bought the same snare because I just wanted to see whether it really is that devastating - it's a thirteen inch wood snare and my god it is so fucking loud and has so much punch, it's incredible. It rather feels like playing on a really well tuned metal snare than wood.
