Dying Fetus: The Milkboy Session

Музыка

Brutal death metal overlords DYING FETUS have unveiled a mini-doc about the band’s songwriting and recording processes. Filmed at MilkBoy Studios in Philadelphia, PA in 2017 upon the release of Wrong One To Fuck With, the band chronicled the re-recording of their classic track “One Shot, One Kill” with Swedish Producer/Engineer Mattias Nilsson. The video features interviews, a new “One Shot, One Kill” performance, and behind-the-scenes footage.

This almost sounds like a whole new song. Dying Fetus is one of the most cathartic bands to listen to for me. No matter how pissed off or frustrated I feel after a bad day, I can listen to them and all that anger and frustration just channels through the music and is gone. Dying Fetus never disappoints.

I met sean before the concert outside and got a pic with him. Then after the concert he came in the bar of the venue along with james from origin like 10-11yrs ago. They were both cool as fuck, down to earth guys. They hungout there for a few hours with me and 2 other guys i didn't know. I was like 21 or 22 then, something I'll never forget. I've seen them in chicago, Portland and seattle. Would love to see them again with necrophagist, lamb of god, black dahlia murder and gojira.

I’m not sure if there’s a metal band out there today called,”Face~Melter” or not but if not “Dying Fetus” should name a song or album entitled “Face~Melter” LoL because they are truly the best death metal band out there today that is still current & relevant & face melting! I grew up listening to Obituary,Cannibal Corpse,Six Feet Under,Death,Quo Vadis Etc but Dying Fetus was just a step above the rest of those bands I listed on here, a 3 piece death metal band that does not only guitar finger tapping but bass finger tapping as well lol, unheard of to the extent that how Dying Fetus was doing it & still are, they are spot on with their musicianship no holds barred!

It's not a matter of this or that. They are different enough to stand on their own. I feel as though they wanted to bring a classic song into their own modern meta, and they crushed it. DYING FUCKING FETUS!!!

The way he described what they’re doing would fit on every death metal band and there’s nothing wrong about it but why some are heavier than others. I don’t think it’s just about the speed. Slow can be brutal too. Or the guitars can be also brutal with less distortion. So the question is, what makes a song brutal I think it’s how it’s mixed together, how the whole thing sounds
