FSU fan here: Benson's best ability is his strength at every point of the play. He runs strong when he's picking a gap at the line, and he runs strong when he's full speed in the open field. Also, he has the vision and speed to put him in positions to utilize and capitalize off his strength. Don't let the 4.3 fool you, he's a power back with speed and not a speed back with power.

That sounds alot like what James Connor is for the cards right now. If he can be that guy hes going to get a lot of reps this season.

Sounds like James Connor but faster. Those two are gonna be lethal for the Cards.

AZ had the most top 100 picks since the Cowboys in the 1990 draft after they traded Herschel Walker n those picks laid the foundation for a dynasty. The players AZ landed will transform that franchise they’re going to be exceptional going forward n will only get better every week this year

I think he's going to be a super interesting case study. As an FSU fan- I would love to see him go somewhere with a good run blocking line. He needs to be kept clean to generate momentum, has a harder time with navigating traffic in the backfield. You guys hit the nail on the head that explosivity is the name of his game. He gets there in a different way and the highs aren't *quite* as high but in a way he has that Ken walker low success rate that you can live with because of his explosiveness

Cards had one of the best rushing offenses last year. Trey Benson should compliment James Connor really well.
Az on the come up holy shihhhhhh.. Marv Jr? K1? Wilson? Benson?.. Connor???!!! Its nice to have a steady RB behind a beast in Connor whos only downside is injury. So if Connor gets hurt.. We got a beast behind him now. Thank you Monti! A real Gm

@@WebbShortsMcBride is an absolute monster as an elite top 5TE. He should easily cross 80+rex/1200+YDs n 6-8TDs as a big red zone weapon. Drafting the most athletic TE in the draft who’s an elite run blocker but who can also become a premier receiving TE with his speed/size n ability to separate in massive 6”5/270pd Tip Reiman I think he’s going to be elite and a big time red zone weapon as a receiver. And 2nd yr TE who scouts around the league are high n expect to break out in converted WR 6”4/245pd Elijah Higgins who can be excellent in the passing game as a receiver. Blake Whiteheart is very talented going into yr2 as well . Arizona has an elite loaded TE room that is easily one of the 3 best if not thee best TE corps in the NFL.

@@K1forMVP Oh for sure! Offense will be scary this year, the talent is there. It all comes down to the playbook and O-line protecting Kyler. Hopefully the defense glues together well.
A absolute steal by us

yes it was
He reminds me of a Saquon, Chubb, Zeke hybrid. Zeke’s patient and burst, Saquon’s agility, and Chubb’s strength. I think he’s going to develop into a top 5 back if he stays healthy.
NAILED IT!! Impressive

New sub here, pretty cool and nuanced take on Benson 👍
Dude is a beast. A 4.39 for a guy his size is crazy
He struggled in short yardage obvious running situations but that seemed to be more due to blocking. He was our primary running back the past 2 seasons but they do rotate a lot
Definitely the best RB in this draft. If he goes to the chargers or Cowboys it’s a wrap

@@champfromla6162Guerendo is 23 already and gonna be 24 by season start. Brooks is coming off an ACL, and Allen doesn’t catch passes. Disregarding all of that Benson is the only truly complete back in this class. Elite elusiveness and power, great burst, and doesn’t let go of the football

Well Cards got a steal
This group of running backs will surprise a lot of people with how many usable backs teams get out of it.
So what I'm hearing is a tough tough RB with injury concerns. At the NFL level the hit's are harder from bigger individual's. From that list he's torn just about every leg part that can be torn. I agree maybe 3rd round for his upside.

He had one devastating knee injury over 2 years ago at Oregon, has proven to be healthy and explosive over 2 seasons at FSU
@CookDaddy29

He came back strong after that injury wich is good sign to me. His cuts look explosive runs hard so I would be worried about injury. I'm worried about Brooks because we haven't seen him after it. I would draft Brooks also. Benson Rb1 for me.
As runner he looks great, I'm currious what he do in the passing game though. I would think he would be good at the basics at least. He had some elite highlights with his 2nd level jump cuts.

Definitely one of my favorite players
Show us those quads Josh! 😂
Birdgang just got better
Arizona easily should have an elite top 3 run game if not thee best again after PFF ranked them #1 last season. AZ will have elite RB James Connor, Trey Benson”s who’s a Pro Bowl caliber beast of a back, Michael Carter is an exceptional change of pace back, signed DeeJay Dallas they are absolutely loaded n also have a deep exceptional OL n elite loaded TE room. Arizona easily should have a top 5-7 offense and both Marvin Harrison Jr n Trey Benson could be competing for offensive rookie of the year
Are you saying he's comp to Achane then? 13-15t touches explosive
Kyren Williams was great at pass pro?

I didn't know the extent of his injuries in college.. the chances he'll be durable RB in the NFL is highly questionable

One devastating knee injury at Oregon, then played 2 full healthy seasons at FSU. He isn't injury prone, he carries the same risk as any other RB imo

Kinda seems like a clone of Cam Akers no? It's almost like I'm watching Cam's FSU tape rn.
Can you guys please do one of these videos on Malik Washington!? I really think he might be a slept on Rookie this year in the draft considering all of his metrics when compared to all of the other receivers in his class, he finished near the top in almost every metric.
Wow who’s here after cardinals just drafted him?
Word is he won’t be RB1 off the board
Corn 🌽 Benson

not sure if we should start talking about runningbacks having the juice.
