Yes, I prefer the ignorant white people to maintain their ignorance about SA and the continent as a whole. Hopefully that way they will stay away while those who know enjoy the fruits.

Yet all my life I've been told Africa is not a place you want to visit and go to because of a myriad of reasons. Yet to my utter shock the large plane from Atlanta to Joburg was full of white people with only a handful of black people. It was a sight to see and made me question everything, then when we landed the folks at the gate was warm to them and said welcome and when I got there they warmly said welcome home brother! From the first day to the last day I was well taken care of and the people connected with me and my wife quickly. I have friends on Snapchat. The short 10 days between Joburg and Durban was everything. I was free to be me. The accommodations were 1st class all the way. I was reminded that they usually cater to Europeans as was told when I called front desk asking about face towels that wasnt in the room. Haha yeah 'them folks' don't wash their ass with a towel go figure. Signatures, Rocco Mama Proud Mary, News Cafe, Saigon Suzy, Tashas, Max's Lifestyle, The Oyster Box, The Chef's Table, Butcher Boys, Cuban Durban, Kauai just to name a few restaurants were all hitting. A trip of a lifetime and a total reset in my life. On the plane ride back home was bitter and I'll admit I cried on the plane. Now back in the States I'm looking at going on the Property Tour this time around. Shout out to Dr. Latasha and Mark Blanton from The Real South Africa Channel and tourism business. Because I saw them on KZread I had to see it for myself. 1st class all the way.
