Wish we could go back in time to the 80s and 90s when the world was a better place 😢

Thatcher, AIDS, famine on a scale we never see today ... time to take those rose tinted glasses off. The world has never been better than it is right now.

Trevor never had anything to do with Asia. I think you're confusing him with Geoff Downes.

„Killer“ is written by Adamski and Seal. Adamski recorded the song first as an instrumental. He looked for a singer to sing the song for this instrumental. The singer he hired was Sealhenry Samuels, who later became famous as Seal, although he was not credited on the single. The problem was that everyone asked for the singer too. Adamski once said in an interview: "I met Seal in a club where he approached me and told me he was a singer. When I heard what he was talking about, I thought he was brilliant, so I became friends with him. Seal wrote the lyrics to the song and then recorded it in one take." The only mention of the word "killer" comes early in the song when Seal says, "It's the loneliness that's the killer." He goes on to sing about making a connection through love, addressing the solitary brothers and sisters who are closed off.
should've mentioned adamski though

Seals's singing is impeccable, but as much as I like Trevor Horn, I don't like his arrangement. Adamski's original has a techno-dystopian edge to it that I miss here.
