Sir Trevor Brooking is a household name in football, but his journey isn’t without its troubles. From an injury that almost sidelined him for good, to the heat he took for trying to fix English football. Here is Sir Brooking for y’all like never before!
Sir Trevor Brooking, born on October 2, 1948, is a former England footballer and a well-known figure in football management and punditry. Nowadays, he’s heavily involved in developing football in England as a director.
Brooking's journey began in Barking, where he was born to Margaret and Henry, a police officer. He was a bright student, finishing school with good grades, and was a football enthusiast from a young age, attending his first West Ham game at nine. Though he had options to join other clubs, he chose West Ham, where he stayed on to complete his studies.
Brooking made his debut for West Ham in 1967 and quickly became an essential player. Despite a serious ankle injury in 1969 that almost ended his career early, he bounced back and secured his spot on the team, especially after some older players left.

My dad use to play football with him at school. Absolutely legend ⚒️⚒️⚒️
I had the privilege of meeting Sir Trev recently. What a legend he was and certainly still is. Took the time to talk about the current West Ham team and hopes for the new season. They say never meet your idols but this bloke was superb. They simply do not make players like Sir Trev any more..a true legend.
Brooking, Bonds, Lampard, Devonshire. My Hammers!!

Brooking and Bonds....The Kings of West Ham ⚒⚒⚒
An absolute gentleman and a great player and ambassador for the game
You forgot he scored the winner in the 1980 FA Cup final against Arsenal !!!!! Shoddy research I’m afraid !!! That was a massive moment and I’m an Arsenal fan !!!!!
My all time favourite West Ham player magic

WHU Legend
I hope this vid is no Click Bate and "finally confirms rumours...." worth watching & listening too. 😢😢
The professional's professional.
Sir Trev 🙌🏼👏🏼⚒️
I'm grateful for the spotlight on one of my boyhood heroes but the presentation of this is awful. Bland AI, poor click bait, lacking atmosphere, poorly scripted and lacking true sense of who the guy was and the great affection the West Ham fans had for him. This is about football not a Hollywood bio. Could have shown video footage, like his England goal against Hungary where the ball stuck in the interior of the stantion or his ITV ' The big match' Golden goal ( of the season) winner, or his 2 goals against Frankfurt in the European Cup winners cup semi final, his one twos with Kevin Keegan in the England team, his general majestic midfield play.

Yep, Somehow the point has been missed Quite simple really - Sir Trev never fouled or fell over when tackled like a disressed dy ing salmon,i never saw him spit or verbally assault referees.I met Sir Trev at a book signing Event years ago. I waited and waited in line, but his representatives wanted to end the session but Sir Trev carried on signing.I got my book signed by the great man,we shook hands and simply smiled at each other. True Gentleman. I am in my seventies also but whenever i look at my signed book by Sir Trev it always makes me very proud that he graced Upton Park with such honesty, majestic still and class Thank you Sir Trev
Trevor Brooking a former.West Ham player, & England International,
Some facts but overall a crap recap of a brilliant, brilliant all time great Hammer

You knew what to expect - a gutterpress headline and the inability to pronounce West Ham properly (emphasis put on 'West' rather than equal stress on both words). An appalling 'tribute' to a great player and a great man who has dedicated his life to West Ham and English football. I do hope they haven't done one on Bobby Moore...
Always played on the "half turn" , had a picture in his head of exactly what he would do with the ball , a skill completely lacking in modern players , Phil Foden excepted
This vid revealed or "confirmed" absolutely no "rumours"! Sad.... Linking this lovely man to "click bate"! 😢😢
Could have said everything in about 5 minutes. And what about these “rumours” that Brooking is supposed to have “finally confirmed”? Rubbish click bait. . . .

Cheers, I assumed it was clickbait
This is a terrible presentation of a truly great footballer who was and still is up there among the greats. He was just quite simply, "The Business".
Yes he was a great player and a good professional footballer it’s a shame sir mr hurst is not the same lived on his World Cup 3 goals for the last 50 years what else has he done ???? YNWA
After 6 mins, sadly looking like "clip, click bate" 😢😢😢😢.
Don't subscribe to garbage channels like this. They will teach you nothing you don't already know or can find out from more credible sources.
Brilliant brooking ❤ coyi x
England old wigs, always employs a "yes man" as manager. Hopefully Sir Trevor "a gentleman, tried to change old ideas.
Click bait. No confirmation of any rumours. Give it a 👎🏽
Terrible channel. No idea. Disrespectful. Lack of research. One of all time greats
So what rumours did he confirm, or was it another of your headlines to make people watch the whole video ? I won't be watching anymore as I think you get your stories out of shoot football magazine
