I saw Denis play for United at Craven Cottage, and Georgie Best for NI at the old Wembley. Difficult to say who was my favourite but if pushed I would say Denis Law. It was fantastic to have seen both of them at their very best.

Lee was the flop of the World Cup in 1970. The only thing he is remembered for is kicking the Brazilian goalkeeper Felix on the head as he held the ball on the ground.

Your take on Bremner is highly questionable. He was so much more than 'gritty'. He was also very skilful, a magnificent distributer and scored many magnificent goals. Both were hugely talented players. I'm not aware of any particular rivalry between the two.

Laurie played for Real Madrid in 1980 and beat Celtic 3-2 on aggregate in the quarter final of the European cup. He was the difference between the two sides.

Why gan athletic... hate these AI voices. He was a proper goalkeeper, not like most of these prem guys covered in tattoos, teeth done, faffing with their hair and in style beards rolling about with the faintest of touches. The game is embarrassing now. Probably one of the best raw goalkeepers the league has ever had. He'd be one of the very best right now. Liverpool fan.
