Tresor is very special because it’s true that I have never smelled something similar to this fragrance. Nowadays many fragrances smell the same. Tresor manages to stand out. The opening smells just as lovely as the dry down.

In light of all the crap that’s coming out at the moment IMO ! Tresor is a refreshing change ,timeless and proof that vintage doesn’t have to be old

I’ve been waiting for this review. The most elegant of them all - Trésor de Lancôme.❤️ Sophia Grojsman is a true magician, I love all of her creations. I had the vintage back in the 90s, went through at least 5 bottles, now I own the modern version which is still beautiful. It could be stronger but I don’t think the perfume itself was supposed to be nuclear strong. It is an intimate perfume for special moments. Sillage is supposed to be moderate. I love the story behind the creation... Sophia had Isabella’s mother Ingrid in mind when she created the scent and Isabella was the one who picked the one that was inspired by her mother, without knowing it of course.

I love Tresor, and the way it lasts and envelopes into such a beautiful fragrance. It is a bit strong at first, but the way it dries down is worth the wait! I've never tried the reformulated version, but I'll have to give it a try. Your right, it is like an apricot cream puff, with powdered sugar on top. Thank you Gabi, for reminding me of this beauty!!!

I love Tresor. I must always have a bottle of it. It is comfortable but also elegant with good performance. I can wear it anytime to anywhere. You describe the reformulated one really on point. The sweetnes of peach and the powdery touch gives it such a great balance.

Love Trèsor! I remember me and my friends used to douse ourselves in this in the early 90s, as all our mothers had this on their bathroom shelf, we passed around the Trèsor bottle spritzing ourselves generously before we put on our leather jackets to go out clubbing (couldn't afford our own)! Felt like the 80s, but I see it didn't come out until 1990.

Hi Gabi, well another stunning review!! I have about 10ml left of a 100ml vintage bottle that i am savouring. Its the same as it was so many years ago, just beautiful!! Like the name implies a 'treasure'!

Yes...I was fortunate...I got it in a bundle with Versace Blonde parfum extrait and Dior Poison atomizer version from '86. or '87. ...for a bargain..all so lovely

Tresor was my favorite perfume for years✨ I used to use the whole set including the hair spray it makes the hair smell so goooood! I didn’t know that they changed the formula! I must try it .. thank you for your beautiful work! 👌🏻💓☀️

i don't think if i have smelled the newer Tresor recently... what i have in my memory is the original one... :) I love that.. i guess i love peach because most of my Mom's fragrances before almost all the time had peach :) i smelled Tresor in Love and i really like the sweet peach in it.... i need to smell Tresor again :)

Do smell the new one. It is still amazing. Maybe a tad less strong than the vintage. But it is still a beautiful scent and unmistakably Trésor. They haven’t ruined this one.... yet!

Tera you would LOVE this especially the new version. It's classy, you would expect a person that has confidence to be thier authentic self to wear this. I almost feel like I want to wear those heels with a crisp white shirt wearing this somehow. The rose is sweet and powdery, tge peach blossom is just ripe and the sandalwood is so balanced. It's quite a classic masterpiece.
