I actually called the company and since we only had the desk a couple of days before it stopped working, they sent me one at no charge. Now keep in mind that this was ordered back at the end of March and it is now the end of May but no charge was no charge, especially since paying close to $300 for the desk. Huge thank you for making this video! What would have probably taken me a while to do, took less than 10 minutes after watching your video!

I JUST bought this desk a week ago. Charger worked fine up until day 2- day 8🤦🏻♀️ a $330 desk SHOULD FAIL this quickly. Great video, I bought the same replacement prior to watching this video. My problem is- I’m having a hard time unscrewing the tiny screws w/o stripping the thread.

I’m only here because in my local Costco I saw this desk with the wireless charging…but the desk has been delivered today and it doesn’t have this! I thought I was going crazy lol…anyway having seen this video and the subsequent reviews…I’m glad my desk doesn’t have it 👍

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but when you're taking the old one out you can rotate it from the bottom to get access to the third screw.

THANKS !!!GOT IT DONE. Tried without seeking video!impossible. Couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t lift the old one or slide the bottom out from that angle due to that third little screw!! Tresanti’s charger died after 1mo. un assembling to return to COSTCO just for that would have been chaotic

I'm confused. This is not my first electronics project, and your video is clear and simple. However: I have purchased 2 of the chargers from Amazon, and neither one seems to work. I was planning to immediately cut the wires and install the connector so that I did not need to use the USB side ports, but....I decided to quickly just try the charger by plugging it into one of the side USB ports. It seemed to work initially, but I will say that it took quite a bit of moving my phone around and patience to hit the spot where it charged. Much different from my usual experience with chargers. Then the one I bought from Amazon just did not work after only few minutes. I sent it back, and got another one. This one didn't work at all. Further more, the SPECS on the charger seem to suggest that it will work with a USB 5 volt supply, but neither of my external power supplies worked with ANY of the 2 wifi charging plates when I tested out the unit that I orderered from Amazon. I really am surprised. I will try to reach out to the people that provide the unit to Amazon. I am confused about one thing in your video, however: you mention a 9V charger and needing a 5V regulator. Are you sure? I measured the supply voltage from the table to be 5V.

There’s too many bad reviews where you buy it on Amazon. It’s a slow charger for one and it doesn’t last longer than a few months. Too bad Costco is selling this crap

i was never able to pull out the old one from its position after removing the two screws

ok I was able to go underneath and use the screw driver to push it up .Cheers

Do NOT follow the instructions that Twin-Star sends with the replacement charger. It's too complicated and seems to be risky. Remove the 2 obvious screws from the bottom. Then use dental floss to get between charger and glass top pulling up in area where the 2 screws were removed. There will be enough play as shown in the video (using gloves because the edge of charger is sharp enough to cut) to rotate the charger to get to third screw.
