Here are the detailed ingredients for the cake, tres leches, and whipped topping:
You can use butter to grease the pan and ensure it doesn't stick. The recipe calls for all-purpose flour, which you will need to measure two cups of, plus a little extra for dusting the pan. You will also need baking soda, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, ground cloves, ground cinnamon, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, vegetable oil, unsweetened pineapple sauce, grated carrots, and raisins (or you can substitute the raisins with pineapple bits for the second cake).
Cake Ingredients:
- Butter (use as needed)
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour (plus extra for dusting the pan)
- 1 tsp of baking soda and baking powder
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1/4 tsp of nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp of ground cloves
- 1/2 Tbsp of ground cinnamon
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 Tbsp of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of unsweetened apple sauce
- 2 cups of grated carrots
- 1 cup of raisins (substitute with pineapple bits for the second cake)
- Finely Chopped Walnuts and Ground Cinnamon for Garnishing
You will need condensed, evaporated, heavy cream, half-and-half, or whole milk for the tres leches. Mix these ingredients together and pour them over the cake.
Tres Leches Ingredients:
- 1 can (14 oz) of condensed milk
- 1 can (12 oz) of evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
I used one cup of whole milk for two cakes.
Finally, the whipped topping will need heavy cream, vanilla extract, and confectioner's sugar.
Ingredients for the Whipped Topping:
- 2 cups of heavy cream
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of confectioner's sugar

    This recipe sounds & looks delicious. I'm not a fan of oil in my cakes therefore I add 1stick butter (8tbs) & 1/4 cup crisco. I also use the standard cake mixing dry/wet method. *I used to use paper towel to spread butter on my dishes too... now I use a silicone brush. It waste no butter 😅

    So is this recipe for one cake or two? Video kind of eluded to two cakes.
