Thanks so much for this video. I'm going to Dom Rep for 10 days and wanted to try this style with the beach curl crochet hair I already have at home. I have travelled with beach curl on vacation before and found it holds up well with all the swimming and snorkelling I do. I was concerned that so many videos say to use human hair only for this style. Human hair is a bit expensive just to wear for 10-14 days but I'm glad to see beach curl being used. When I return home, I might even cut it out and crochet fresh hair in.

How do you maintain the ends of the braids, the curly parts that were in the perm rods? Just trying to figure out how to keep them moisturized and not looking ratty.

The ends really do not need a lot of maintenance. But you can re dip them over time if they are looking nappy. I do a have a short coming on how to renew curl ends over time. So be on the lookout for that. I will leave the link below once I upload the video/short. No Unfortunately, because it is synthetic hair, it will eventually get ratty at the ends as all synthetic hair does.
