Yeah I used Audacity, a vintage Casio toy keyboard, omnichord, and the guitar was actually played by my partner (featured in this video). they didn't know the song was going to be about them when they recorded their part. The background noise was from a storm I recorded on a tape recorder in my backyard on my dad's birthday. I appreciate you!

@@Samuelisakson I wish I personally knew what to say to help you through substance issues but I've never been able to find the right thing. I guess the best thing you can do for reviving your love for art is a sort of sensory deprivation period from mostly streaming, but definitely substances. The drinks manipulate you through poisons whose effects dissipate while art and music gets you intoxicated through emotions that only increase over time! I know it's like a parasite that affects everyone differently but even in the height of my personal periods of constant drinks and/or weed I always felt I was in a one sided relationship. Idk where I'm even going with any of this and I'm probably not saying anything you don't already know lol. No amount of getting fcked up has ever compared to soberly hearing the song I listened to as a 10 year old with my (now deceased) cat on my chest. I recorded it with a HI8 video camera and screen recorded It to my computer with an AV to USB adapter like this: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lKqAtJV6ksSYc84.htmlsi=Cd-f7OleOeWdTkHG Tape cameras don't record to files so to get it digitally you have to let the whole tape run while screen recording. To get the tape-y effects I just paused, rewinded, and fast forwarded the tape randomly as it was playing. I also used this camera and method for my latest music video for my song "sorry" If you're wondering, HI8 tapes are re-recordable so you only need one or two tapes, depending on the project :) Thanxx
