    Thank you Oxana! You are so skilled at this and a great teacher. Please wrap a coffin shaped stone in the future! There are no good tutorials out there and I think you'd do an amazing job.

    I'll do one soon, you'd basically wrap it the same way as like an oval or upside down teardrop, you'd just have to bend the frame in more of an angular way to have it fit around the coffin

    This is so lovely! I love the circle leaves. In order to protect their placement could you gently tap them a few times with a nylon hammer? It would it be too dangerous to the entire piece?

  • @OxanaCrafts

    @OxanaCrafts

    Жыл бұрын

    I think you could but before attaching that particular branch down, so you are not tapping the stone too much

    Love this take on the tree of life and I love the bail. I am curious about your process. Do you draw out your patterns on paper first or do you just go for a physical prototype? Also, do you remember the steps for the tutorial or do you write notes as you go so you can repeat them?

  • @OxanaCrafts

    @OxanaCrafts

    Жыл бұрын

    I usually just go with the flow of the wire, sometimes I might have a particular idea in my head that I attempt. I don't write out steps for the tutorials, it is in my head, or sometimes I have a prototype piece to look at

    Hey there! Love your tree design! I'm about to try it out on a new round/oval onyx cab I just received! 😁 I have a quick question for you. I'm just about out of my 26g, might possibly have enough but would 28g work with this design? I have a whole spool of that size. 😊

  • @OxanaCrafts

    @OxanaCrafts

    I fear the 28 will make the leaves a bit too fragile, but you can give it a try, I use 28 for normal trees if the stone is very small
