Dr. Shivangi Lohia discusses the two treatment options available for thyroid nodules. Those options being surgery, which is removing that portion of the thyroid or radiofrequency ablation (RFA). RFA is a minimally invasive surgery where a probe is inserted into the nodule and delivers heat to shrink and scar it.
