@@negolfman thanks for the reply. I was sick and felt pain for a day or two every time I applied it. Now I have periodic pain I did not have before. No follow up colposcopy for 6 months.

Cervix, uterus and overlays removed. High risk 16. Three years later, I have to get a ct scan because I have mild bleeding after intercourse and burning during intercourse. I’m so scared. I was assured I had nothing to worry about. The cervix is gone. I always wondered if I still had HPV couldn’t I get vaginal cancer? I’m so scared. My hysterectomy was 3 years ago. I’m 57 years old.

Hello, how are you doing now?

Is the cervical samples or swabs taken during a smear or HPV test and or tissue retained during a colposcopy identical to all cervical cells of the specific patient that is being tested? If there are say for example, one or two locations of visible lesions on the cervix or more or less but, there is limited visibility of the cervix and the sample that is taken is not directly from the lesion tissue. Will the non lesion sample still indicate the lesion tissue that is on a different location of the cervix?

I have HPV 16, 18. I had the leep procedure, a complete hysterectomy and laser treatment. Since then I have been testing negative, but now I have excruciating pain with sex. Alexa B.C. A couple of weeks after my procedure I had severe bleeding and clotting. So bad that I was hospitalized and very close to needing a blood transfusion. It was traumatic. Makes me never want to go through that again. I’m sure that’s not the effects for everyone but that’s what happened to me. On the positive side since then I’ve had 3 healthy full term babies. I was worried about not being able to have kids.

Alexa B.C. Try looking up ahcc supplements. I read that taking them clears up your hpv infection and won’t need to do the LEEP. I’m taking that now and hope that it will keep me from doing it again.

In the meantime if they’re making you wait while try researching everything possible to take to improve your immune system, diet, exercise. It’s possible your body can naturally regress the abnormalities in the cells. Also look up AHCC.. it supposedly attacks the abnormal cells clearing you of the infection. Take for 3/6 months 3g daily.
