Alhamduliallah I have visited the museum in Dublin while I was there for taraweeh back in 2014-2015. Really an amazing place. I was honoured by the local brothers of the masjid who took me there.

Chester Beatty was an American mining engineer who became very wealthy. He bought the manuscripts from antiquities dealers. When he died he left his collection to the Irish state.

​@@publicpm8809He bought Christian, Manichean, Samaritan, Islamic, Jewish, Buddhist and many other types of manuscripts. His collection of Christian manuscripts is much larger and contains some of the earliest manuscripts of the Christian Gospels.
