I really like Tre (I'd love if he stay at SA, as a 2nd unit PG) but it's delusional to say that. He's still young, I can be wrong (and I hope I am wrong), but it looks more like a 6th-man ceiling.

I'm not saying we would have been a play in team but i believe we win more than 22 games if he started from the beginning.

Obviously. Sochan was so bad *as a PG,* the most blinded "PG" of the NBA, unable to create his own shot or create anything for his teammates... Tre Jones (a decent PG, unselfish, sneaky good finisher) is so much an upgrade of that. This experiment probably cost many W for the team, an All-Star snub for Wemby and nearly a Rising-Star snub for Sochan (L-L-L)

@aspleen1102 completely agree. I like Sochan but never in that role again. He just doesn't have the vision. Some plays he was missing in certain areas were things you don't miss in High School. VW is 7'5". Throw that thing up there on fast breaks. Why are we kicking it out. Well let's see what happens next season.

not a star... who cares... this is the same league that did not give any respect to mike conley even after a stellar career where he outperformed CP0 ... so star is not the point ... functionality is and when tre plays the spurs move the ball better, defend better !!!!

lol he makes his teammates good. he is not prone to turnover and very consistent. the only thing he lack is 3 point shot but who cares if 4 of the players inside can also shoot 3. tre,vassell,sochan,mamu,wemby. this line up is already good they dont need a star point guard so vassell and wemby can be the star

@@user-cq7ni7oq2c tbf having a starting PG who can't create his own shot sometimes is an issue for the team O-Rating. I really think he can improve his 3pts efficiency (his shooting form is nice and fast enough, he's elite at FT), but he's still so far away to be able to create efficiently his own shot
