We got the same color. I put DuraTrax lockups on mine. I never ran the stock tires. They are too small. I bought that wing mount too. Yeah, the heavier weight diff oil should always be in the back for bashing no?

Are you running standard springs on the front? I was at the skatepark earlier and found it chassis slapped abit much on the front so wanted to up the poundage not sure by how much though

You should try the JLB Cheetah. For it's cheapness it is quite good

Because he's a racer at heart and able to keep momentum bashing . Thick oil you lose traction in the turns and ultimately better just for straight aways traction before launching

Oh I dint hear him I agree it was backwards 10k in the front , the power will bleed to front especially with xxmax wheels with xrt wheels probably little more agile

I think from what i have seen on KZread and Driving RC cars for over 40 years.. the #TraxxasXRT is the Best RC car for the Money. Its tough as Hell!

Good question if you talking 8s. If you do jumps like this go with Traxxas unless imo talking 6s kraton both have superior diffs , just blew diff on second run on exb Mojave

Maybe expand your search beyond those two brands. Personally, I can't invest into cars with weak drive trains so I buy Hobao and Team Corally. Wait until people start promoting the drive train upgrades for the traxxas, then you'll know the true cost of owning this thing.

Get the XRT, way more durable. That front flip crash would’ve folded the Kraton into a pretzel.

They should of made this a 1/8 scale. I'd take this over a sledge at 1/8

@@Shellzwick So swap out the chassis to a plastic one? You didn't clarify anything. All you said was you wish this was a 1/8. This is a truggy, they have a 1/8 Truggy, it's called the Sledge.

Evidently not great for that type of bashing. Plenty of better and far cheaper options available. Also, Traxxas using monkey metal gears in a $1000+ RC is a disgrace.

I agree with You..💯 before i even ran mine, i installed Tekno RC M5 Pinion Gear 22t and replaced my steering servo to a speedtek RC (SPV-0308)for $1160 (with tax) you definitely shouldn’t haven’t to do those things
