Knowing the XMaxx is top heavy and a bit wonky, I think this large LCG truggy option makes sense for guys who lean towards speed and handling performance. I was set I wanted a Xmaxx. Now I want the XRT instead I think. Very nice. I remember my first rustler (2004) and first t maxx (2006). Still have the tmaxx and everything on it has been upgraded. Super long and super wide but this is the way to go!

The X-Maxx is a tank. You need to replace a few parts, which will be the same on the XRT. But after that you will have a great truck. The huge plus is that it weighs less. Great video Dennis. Now to find $1500 (CDN) :)

Thanks for stopping by brother. I have found Every RC has issues with full sends off my Ramps or Augusta BMX, out of the big rigs the Xmaxx when M2Cified is one of the Toughest RC for Bigger sends, it just doesn't go near as big as the K8S and O8S can, which is why I think Traxxas made this move, this XRT should go like a big Sledge🚀👍 I'm excited to see it. Appreciate the kind support as always my friend

150ft plus in the air. My maximum has been 26ft high jumps, and even those jumps can cause a lot of damage if you land wrong. Good stuff as usual bud. This thing is durable from what I've seen. Xmaxx durability with more stability, better protected tires and wider than a stock Xmaxx. Better tires too. Should you get one? Of course! 😂

What's up brother. When I say 150ft I mean distance, yeah Not even RC Dude81 has gone 150, the WR he set is just over 100 vert. The furthest distance I have gone any rig is just under 150, not sure how much vertically that was, maybe 50+ no clue? That's why it's crazy Eric has gone 265 distance as well😲 that dude is nuts. Yeah if stuff goes wrong when going bigger stuff usually breaks, usually cheap stock parts, that M2C stuff almost impossible to break and holds things together on bigger sends, all bets are off when super sending bad landings though😜 Appreciate the kind support brother, See ya round

Sup buddy, HR makes a good spur gear in different options, I would go 46 for sure I think that's the speed one. And for Pinion I ALWAYS go Saga Pinions.... They have two Grub screws and best material period! Appreciate yiur time and comment, hope to see you around

Looks good brother it look better at your house 🏠 😉. I agree I like the velion. Motors but escs are underwhelming. I was just try glue a old max8 in the Maxx. This esc outlasted a half dozen or so rtr escs . The wire leads are disintegrating lol I just twisted and re wrapped what's left. The firma 160 seems good I've only used it casually with stock motor , I went to buy couple from Jenny's but sold out at time and they raised price. The max 6 pretty much the same price. I want try castles but price are crazy 4 5 600 will hurt for me if esc fried prematurely. The rock Rey with firm 160 780 kv was on sale for 650 so I try stick with rtrs on sale or rollers. I do like this xrt

I seen a video where top front hinge popped out pretty easy so might need some m2c love for sure... Will the shorter stock arms fit this 🤔

Yeah bro, M2C already makes Hinge pins for the Xmaxx should work on these no problem. And yeah should be no problem making the arms shorter with standard xmaxx arms just need shorter shafts, and Turnbuckle/steering links from Xmaxx. Might negativity effect performance unless your trying to make a Xmaxx Stadium Truck (like Big Mojave/UDR😍).... Which I do anticipate Traxxas making next year? Appreciate your time See ya round

Nicely done! The XRT definitely looks promising and no doubt it will sell a ton. Glad to see TRX going back to what they do best, plastic! The Maxx trucks are the best TRX has ever produced IMO. The sludge is one of their worst. I appreciate your honesty in acknowledging that TRX has weaknesses, just as all brands do. I look forward to the running vids!! Sub'd.

Would definitely need a different mount all together as it's SUPER fat. I think all you can hope for here is the 1560kv, but that would likley need a new mount as well🤔 I think this system is designed to stay stock, but so was the Sledge, and you see what M2C was able to achieve there😁 We will see what the aftermarket comes up with, but the Traxxas Motors are ok, maybe just ESC to Firma 160, string fans and Maxx out them Pinions/ Spurs. @@3SonsRC well it's not about what i do, it's about the feeling i got that RC cars should have aluminium chassis to be more "serious" and less toyish. my friend "happyhappyjoyjoy", the best Xmaxx freestyler said xmaxx chassis will eventually break. at least they are cheap to replace

Poor Traxxas always playing catch up to Arrma. Just buy a kraton 8s and call it a day.

Already got a M2Cified K8S and an O8S brother, and I agree, Arrma paved the way for some great RC innovation. But if this can be like a bigger M2Cified Sledge, some small mods, it could be something quite special. Appreciate your time and comment, hope to see ya round

Na bro, just sell the ESC for $150 on ebay and buy a Firma 160 off Jenny's for the same🤣🤣 but I get ya, actually the gears are worse an issue than the esc, I could use it for a minute, but the gears are so weak. VERY interested in this rig regardless.... All RC need some upgrades Hope your enjoying the channel, See ya round brother
