I'm a noob but I understand you CAN modify any one rc car to upgrade in power or make a low gear riding car and stuff like that. I'm out here hunting for such info, once I learn more about electronics and mechanics I want to start modifying any and all rc cars I get. For now, I'll stick with newbie stuff and run rtr cars and trucks. As I learn this and that, then I'll do the really fun stuff. Point is, couldn't you upgrade a trx4 to fit a 6s battery?

Thanks brother. Yeah, scale wise, they do ok. Wish they did a little better but with such small lugs on the tracks there is no real "bite". Maybe traxxas will release upgraded tracks. Thanks for stopping in.

Always entertaining Buddy. I just told my Son..."I don't learn much anymore because the 30+ years in the hobby...that's why I continually watch videos to occasionally learn something new...AND I did. About a week ago I learned about "acclimating" the rubber to the temperature. One awesome reason to go crawl'n with guys you don't know , especially new hobbiest...the newbies think of some coolest stuff that this old-fart brain don't think of. Fun as always Ben.

@@BuyitBreakitFixit I forget what tires were on it. But the wheel speed got it through. Then it would shut down for a bit before it would go again. After that the motor sounded like ass.

Cool! would be sweet if they made those tracks 2 or more times as wide so it would float on the snows surface I bet it would be awesome!

Hope someone comes out with a deep lug track for it,and like u said might b different if u acclimated it before ,I made that mistake the other day running it on 3s,looked like your snow was heavy as well,dry climate here so it's all powder here lol

Yeah, it was very wet and heavy snow. Different lugs, I think, would make a difference. Thanks for stopping in.

Hi thanks for the great vidz. Im shooting for the setup on my sport with a Velineon system. The chart says a 22t pinion wont fit the 45t spur. Would you please tell me the best pinion to spur combo for Velineon 3s?

The "fastest"combo will be the 22t pinion and 39t spur. The other combo would be a 16t pinion with the 45t spur. Thanks for commenting and watching.

thanks man waited a year for this looks like I saved 300 $ TRACKS DONT WORK IN DEEP SNOW funny not surprised track must be a lot wider I got the trx4 with defender body its heavy more weight more getting stuck ?

Yeah, in deep snow they just get stuck and full of snow. they need to make better tracks with deeper lugs. my opinion. still fun but I expected a little better results.the sport is a little heavy with the rack on back but still not as much as the defender. The extra weight might actually help it, not sure about that. They do cut down to the grass but with the light weight of the sport, maybe it isn't heavy enough to grip forward in snow. all in all, they are paid for now and fun to change up now and then. thanks for the comment.

If you don’t leave it out side for 4min the snow meats a hot surface it melts and then freezes in the track
