Traxxas Summit challenge
Stock Traxxas Summit with 8.4v NiMh batteries. I have one set of Traxxas 3000mah, and one set of Team Orion 4500mah. I've had the car for under a week, so I have not had so much practice yet. I have to say that the Summit by far exeeded my expectations, it is very powerful and have good acceleration. I can drive it anywhere. Nice running time too with 4500mah batteries.

I've pushed my summit to the limit several times and done so many difficult challenges with it and that truck proved to be unstoppable...
I never realized that the summits crawled as well as they do.... one can spend a fortune on a crawler, decking it all out, when the summit will run circles around all of them...thanks for this video it was very informative,... I want I want I want one now.
You know what I love about traxxas is that they do what they do so well. They are able to provide an RTR crawler/basher thats H2O proof...that will climb anything. Its so awesome. No need to spend hundreds on parts and deal with the headache of trial and error of building a crawler(unless thats your thing). For people who want to buy a ready to go crawler this is it!
What a beast! I wanted the summit but I got the traxxas stampede for Christmas instead. It's pretty nice

@STI828 No, it's FM transmitter. You can see it on the antenna on the controller. 2,4ghz do have a short rubber antenna, and FM has the retractable metall antenna. At certain frequencies FM will disturb other cars when they are close to your controller.
@02ole and you should use I think it's the locking differentials. It helps when you're climbing or crawling. It makes the truck go slower and grip better.

perfect place for a summit. i have a summit aswell and think its a good truck for about everything. i had a drag race with my slash and summit................... they tied!

@FreDCoDTrX Yes they are! They are very soft, and not very good to go fast on hard surface with.
