Remember when I made my stampede 6s?

I honestly thought Traxxas’ plans with the Hoss was to replace the Stampede lineup with Hoss’. And I suppose that technically is what happened, but it would have been nice for these Hossipedes (I refuse to call them Stampedes since they’re just rebranded Hosses) to bear the Hoss name. Still a great truck. I have a Hoss with the Extreme-HD upgrade kit and haven’t been able to test it at a skatepark yet, but from what I’ve heard, the kit makes it almost indestructible. P.S. I’m pretty sure the Sledgehammers aren’t belted. The belted ones are just for the Maxx, Sledge, and X-Maxx. I don’t think it needs belted tires. I’ve never had a tie blowout in my Hoss (hopefully that doesn’t jinx it).

It's a nice truck. They should have put the damn GTR shocks on that bad boy. My smallest basher is a truggified Typhon 6s with lots of upgrades, including K6S exb ends, M2C chassis, M2C chassis braces and more. It's a TANK. Max 6 V2 and 4985 HW motor. So yeah 😂

I did buy a 8000mah ves ace basher pro 3s battery for it, so I had to to buy the $8 36mm battery hold down. I also bought some clip on fans for the motor and I already ordered the GTR shocks for it from Jenny's RC. So yeah. I haven't even driven it yet.

Thought you were going to say 429 horsepower, there for a second. Love the scheme on the new bodies. There was something about the looks of the Hoss that just wasn't right. I may not buy a new truck soon, but planning to get a new Stampede 4x4 VXL body for my Hoss. =)

I miss my Massachusetts brethren

Well I was told at my hobby shop that my Stampede was only the second one bought in their store and it kicks with no comparison to the Hoss , the Hoss was just a prelude to a better Stampede , they do not even make the Hoss anymore
