Dang, nice!! 😎👍 Man, I heard that scrape & thought it was surely done lol, made me cringe 😂 I know that sound very well, among other not so pleasant sounds, like booming sound they make when they hit a pole! 😄 I swear, poles are like 50 foot apart & they're like magnets for rc cars!! 😆

Hahaha...yeah no kidding...lol. Well she is happily in my basement riding out the winter. I will try for 140mph this year and possibly 150mph. I need the time...so hard to find being a family man.

Thanks man! Yeah the esc is ok...not fried thank God. A few fan blades broke inside stopping the fan.

Yeah..no worries...and who cares really. Guys are at 170mph plus now. That was my first and only speed run outing this year. I'm stuck close to home and now that I have discovered FPV drones that is quickly becoming my thing. I love flying. You are good with the planes! I havent seen any notifications from you so I missed that. I'm subbed to everyone that subs my channel so I guess the notifications got buried.

@@KaizerTest yeah I know the feeling, tony hit 185 the other day. I have one more pinion coming and it will be what it is, either I get 130 or at least 120. I want to try to get new people involved in RC's, that's my goal. How hard are drones to fly?

@@iamalbanyrc2783 The drones are easier than planes in my opinion because it's FPV versus line of sight. I was better at line of sight but now way better at FPV. Watch this video on my Darwin 79 drone. It's gives some FPV view and some line of sight view as I fly FPV. Take into account that the camera on this drone is analog and is ok. There are worse and better analog cameras and the goggle view is a little better than what the DVR on the goggles saves. There is also digital for more money. But the feeling of flying around like you are in the quad yourself is so much fun. kzread.info/dash/bejne/end_0rycqbjYd9Y.html There are free simulator you can get for free which are good but I use one called Liftoff for $20. There is a bit of a learning curve with drones but KZread has a lot of help and I am also on a Facebook group called Beginner to FPV. Those guys can help with any question.

I held my breath on that first run at the end, i was pretty sure that was going to turn into fragments lol. amazing recovery! and that is one sweet looking build, nicely done!

@@KaizerTest which TP motor are you running? I'm using TP 3650 2060kv in the 2wd slash. Drive shafts keep breaking "heavy duty stock plastic axles" car will pull harder than 135 as soon as I fix the drive shafts. Ohhh the best thing about 2wd and breaking a drive shaft? NO BRAKES!!!!!😁 Hold on this ride is about to get a little bumpy... ... I run on a slow highway so I have ALL the room I need. The 4x4 is still castle 1515 mild gearing still

Tekno has driveshafts that fit the slash I believe. When I was looking for a replacement for my limitless and scorched rc was out of stock. They are 6mm or 8mm and quality metal. And the can handle 6s power.

I did the same thing to the stock limitless center rear driveshaft. When I was looking for a replacement I came across teknos driveshafts. And part of the description was a replacement for traxxas slash. I finally was able to buy a driveshaft from scorched rc.

@@KaizerTest hell yeah bro!!! 🤣🤣 Been mainly doing 8th mile drags but I did get a 4.6@111 on 6s 🤣. TP motor is nobody's business and Castle 1717. We need better roads down here but tough to run these speeds and open them up being over a million people in pinellas county 🤣 keep at it bro! 👍

@@motortoys9942 We hae 6 million people in the Greater Toronto area..too many here too. Hey the 4070 is an awesome motor. I got up to 138 in no time and it stops on a dime too. Hey you know what happened to my Felony...I had a TP 4050 2300kv which according to TP can run on 8s. So I had my SMC's in the Felony and did some back and forth just to test my trim and all my motor wires desoldered! I wonder what happened?

@@KaizerTest wow yeah man lot of people. And yeah its insane just gotta get traction the torque is mind blowing! Believe it or not bro, I have had things do this because of heat (never the motor wires). Did they unsolder from inside the can? Sounds like a defect to me because that is 100% an 8s motor. I would get TP to warranty it they are good about it.

@@motortoys9942 No only the bullet connectors desoldered. I forgot to have a cap pack on if you can believe that.😭 But I think it still should have been able to take a few short blips back and forth to check my trim. My gearing was 28 spur and 34 pinion. Could that be it? I put my 1717 in when I got home and ripped it on my street and the esc was only 110 degrees. And I went up to a 38 pinion too.

Nice 138mph! Did the esc survive? Notorious Jay is right,rpm is junk these days. They flex and bend way to easy! After three months they are shot, bent out of shape causing your truck to sit uneven and lower then they snap.

The esc survived. It was just the fan that threw a blade and it stopped the esc fan. She is back up and running now.

Wicked build and video did the esc survive?! atleast i know now the road can handle that type of speed i go there but going 100mph scares me thinking ill lose distance with my spektrum dx5c but just got a radiolink rc6gs with the r7fg receiver so shouldnt be a problem anymore

Thanks bro. Yeah the esc is just fine. That road is good for 150mph but there are way too many cars at times. Anything can happen. The RC6GS will give you that added range you need for speed runs for sure.

Nice pass ! That thing was cooking. I ordered another mmx8s 1717-1650 combo for my slash. I don’t know if you seen there is a kit on eBay for the slash lcg . It’s actually pretty cool. Check it out . It has an aero kit made for the proline supersonic body . A pleasure as always brother ....

Another great run! Today my slash went offroad while speedrunning. I have to do something about the downforce in the front. Because it starten gliding on the street while going at high speed. Almost hit the kurb there 😖😖😖 it's funny I asked you why my ESC was overheating in my video then I watch this and you have the same problem! I know you did 2 runs like but I reckon even after your first run it would have been hot! I've ordered some fans from AliExpress if you want the link dude, only cheap and very powerful! They're server fans and run on 3s so I'll have a little 3s lipo to power the fans I think. Oh and we'll done on the pb dude! Let's see who gets to 140 first 🤣🤣🤣 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

😧 you will probably get to 140 first. 😀 Two fan blades broke and got stuck preventing the fan from moving. Pretty crappy for a castle product to use a flimsy fan like that. Yeah shoot me the link to the fans...thanks brother.

@@KaizerTest I can't find a link but type this in on AliExpress... avc 4028 12v 1a There's a few different deals, I bought 3 for $16 and they got great reviews. 1amp they are where's others are like 0.2 or something 👌🏻 And my fan blades broke a bit ago I've already replaced my fan? It is shit for what they cost, should have the best quality fans on them! Anyway I ordered the xlx2 today so when that comes hopefully I won't have any heat issues anymore! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Thanks! 😃 Yeah the esc was ok. The fan lost 2 blades and they kept the fan from running so that's why it cut out on me...and I did one too many passes without cooling it off.

This car is set up for speed runs so it can only do a couple passes and then it needs to cool or the motor will fry.

I need help with xlx anytime I go in the app it keep fail to send tuning settings

@@joshherrman3201 Yeah no problem. These are the best bodies you can find for speed runs. You need at least 2mm thick and they fit over the wheels perfect.

Yeah they seem to be pretty good. But I have been to 132mph on Hoons. I have never had a Hoon blow up on me yet. GRP’s I have had blow. But GRPs dont balloon as much above 130.
