I may be wrong but the slipper clutch seems a little loose

It is brotha, I kept breaking this dumb pin inside of my transmission there is one on each side of the spur gear, the inside one kept shearing off, after fixing it for the fourth time I knew something had to be causing it, that’s when I realized my slipper clutch was too tight, I thought I had it loose enough after that time however the pin sheared off again, I’m still playing with it a bit, but for now Looser and no broken parts is fine with me, plus I throw this open diff around on hot vegas asphalt alll the time doing burnouts and drifting around and I’ve realized with a looser clutch it’s easier for me at least to predict what the car is going to do and counter leaving me with perfect doughnuts 🍩

@@itzzgraham make a replacement one out of a drill bit the same size, will be alot stronger.

@@roonimaka9365 dude I’ve seen videos on that!! The only thing I was worried about is it coming out with harsh throttle, the little pin that is in there has a slit down the middle so it goes in loose and tightens up when in the pin is in the shaft, I used the normal pin and put a bit of super glue on top of it and knock on wood it hasn’t happened again..

Heating your tires does nothing when they balloon like that. Plus it looks like those streetfighters arent hooking up at all really. Might be a bad surface though. Cool truck!

Get a hot racing sealed diff case and put some 500k diff silicone in there. I found out that alot of 1 tire fires are hard on the stock vxl trans cause when the tire hooks up after spinning it usually shocks the drivetrain and will shear the pins off the top shaft. Less tire shock = less broken parts

i had the opposite, bought a sealed diff and kept blowing the internal gears with 200k fluid im assuming due to the extra laod from splitting the power and gripping more, swapped to 30k and it lasted far longer but still eventually blew and i've now swapped to a spool

500 is too thick. I just put it in mine and it's about the same as having the diff fully locked. Offroad it is terrible.

Burnouts waste rubber. Ballooning potentially catastrophically disassembles your tires, and/or unglues them. Don't do this, unless your want new tires.

Mine too bro! I got lucky with a really good launch on this run, check out some of my more recent videos with my slash, I put the traxxas drag slash transmission on it and threw 500k diff fluid in the rear

But that's not on a 3s right? Mine on 3s would do a wheelie and flip if I do that

It’s an open differential, you can literally hold one wheel and the wheel you are not holding would be the only one spinning

That’s no burn out

Stock bf Goodrich tires in the front that came with my slash 2 years ago and some duratrax speed treads for grip and drifting on the rear actually, they hook up great and since I have 500k diff fluid in my trans it helps posy up the differential and it slides too! Check out some of my drifting videos
