You can run 2 batteries with the optional traxxas parallel connector for extended run time.

I have a track myself for my mini RC's. You might want to consider widening the lanes. (less grass to cut😉) If you where my neighbor, and I would race with you. The 4wd mini slash with the 12 turn titan is kinda weak. I have converted mine to brushless and run two batteries. Also replaced the crappy shocks. Made a world of difference.

Never run NiMH with low volt detection on, it will really shorten run time. So leave esc with red light. Get a 2s Lipo change esc to Low volt detection on- green light- and add some landing ramps to the track and see if your mind is changed.

I did that and use an old battery on the other side to balance the car. These are really good little cars, handle well and are fast with the Lipo battery.

Lipo battery w/ Teton tires = Huge difference. Will have to raise body and trim wheel wells a little. Totally worth it.

I noticed when you jump you let off throttle causing it to dip mid air try giving full throttle in the air to keep control other than that great video

The MJX hypergo 14209 is on sale for $130 right now. Is there any reason to buy this instead? Any idea how much would it cost to make this perform comparably?

The 14209 is a different truck & I have never driven it but from looking at it online, I can tell you it comes down to personal preference. The 14209 looks like a desert truck, with a different body style, similar to a Losi Lasernut. The H14BM is lower to the ground, similar to an Arrma Kraton, which helps with speed and handling sharp turns. It all comes down to the look and style you want and the type of driving style you prefer.

My coworker was going to throw one away and he gave it to me and it’s a 1/16 Traxxas slash
