There’s no excuse. I went to a Kehlani concert and there was a person that passed out from dehydration… she literally stopped the show, ran to her DJ to grab water and passed it to the girl. And didn’t start back until she was okay. I’m realizing how rare that is…..😞

There’s literally a old video of Travis Scott completely turning off the music and stopping his show when someone took his shoe.. then telling the crowd to beat his azz because the boy took his shoe.. so that lets me know Travis Scott values his expensive shoes more than human lives in the crowd at his shows. If you could completely stop a show and turn off music to get your shoe there’s no excuse for seeing people passing out with your eyes and still performing with that loud ass music and not stopping the music or the show completely and asking what’s going on and checking with the crowd .. had he jumped down and put the mic into the crowd he would have heard them screaming , no some people aren’t okay.. although some in the crowd were enjoying their time , many others literally wasn’t enjoying their time and they were uncomfortable so a simple check in with the crowd could have prevented so much.

I’ve been in mosh pits at actual metal shows where nobody got hurt. Because the band made sure the crowd knew to pick people up if they fell down and would stop if the crowd was surging forward and tell people to step back. It’s not enough to stop for a minute and keep going. You stop and don’t play until you see that everybody’s okay. And sure as shit don’t continue playing while a medic cart is in the middle of your crowd. So, anybody trying to defend him, save it.

I know that Zach is going to do a follow-up to this because he doesn't have all the facts. The Houston police declared the concert a mass casualty event and alerted Travis and his team. Travis kept performing for 37 more minutes after that warning. There are videos of Travis's own bandmates going up to him and telling him that something was wrong and he said, "You all know what you came here to do. Let's go." And he just kept on going. These videos are all over TikTok. This man knew and he didn't care. He kept on performing and made sure that his family got out safe. I personally think that his career should be over after this.

Even if you're right Zach, and he was unaware of the severity of the situation, there is no way he did not see the ambulance in the middle of the crowd desperately trying to get to those who needed help. Even his peers like Lil Uzi and Playboi Carti who have similar "rockstar" brands have stopped shows for safety reasons. In my mind he knew full well what was happening and either didn't care OR fully cosigned it as someone who gets off on the chaos. That whack ass, tired ass, DISRESPECTFUL ASS apology video told me everything I needed to know about his mindset. Imagine being the sibling or parent of one of the deceased and watching that "apology." SIR... I'm sorry, but he needs to sit down, take a hiatus, and lose a few brand deals. I’m in disbelief. Rest In Peace to every life lost at Astroworld Fest. Sending prayers and love to those in ICU.

The girl said the camera man actually helped once he realized what she was saying. He had top-grade noise-cancelling headphones and he thought she was just a drunk crazy girl. But, at the end of the day, the only person capable of stopping the show is Travis. He's the one who can control the fans just by speaking. No crew member would be able to do that to that amount of people. He even said "who is saying to stop?" repeatedly at some point and decided to continue as normal.

Speaking as someone who was actually there, it’s easy for people to watch videos and form an opinion on what they think was going on or what should’ve happened. I agree some things could’ve been prevented but until you’re in a crowd with 50k people so tight you can barely breathe or you can’t see your own feet below you, getting pushed and shoved from all sides, you don’t know. People were camped out there since 2-4 am, food & drinks were typical festival high prices, lines were extremely long even to water stations so I’m sure there were tons of people passing out because of that alone. People were getting hurt and taken away well (hours) before Travis’ set.. back to when Don Toliver was performing, but that’s to be “expected” at a Travis concert- its well known their fans are wild. It was after his set that I had to stand in the back away from the crowd b/c I couldn’t take being in the inside. He didn’t stop performing when people were being pulled out the crowd and medics were rushing people away…if I were to place blame on anyone it would be live nation. The event was imo not well executed and kinda messy and that shows in the amount of people that were hurt and that passed and there wasn’t enough medical staff to tend to them.if it’s known that the crowd can be crazy and with that amount of people, it should’ve been more help.

Plus, I have asthma so it was a no for me. But I hate the people who paid and genuinely wanted to be in the front before the set began had to experience not being able to move in any direction. I wish there was such thing as concert etiquette. Being at the event, we weren’t aware what was going on up there. Couldn’t see or hear anybody screaming for help. And whoever’s responsible for that little ass golf cart w/ red and blue lights should be ashamed. They should’ve used real full sized EMTS. Hearing it from your pov makes so much more sense because she was literally on the platform screaming at him and he didn’t take the time to listen to her. I believe he is still partially to blame. Also, I saw someone on Twitter say there’s a terms and conditions when you purchase a ticket that talks about mosh pits and stampedes? Don’t quote me because I have no clue if that’s true. It’s evident that Travis lacks the foresight needed for these kinds of events. If he’s been grilled for it in the past, and people are passing out at your shows, he should have had some common sense about how this show was going to go. He shouldn’t have encouraged fans to break down fences and mob the festivals, he should have stopped his fans jumping on the ambulance and made them clear a path to reach the victims, Kylie shouldn’t have posted on her story at all ESPECIALLY not a photo with the ambulance visibly struggling, and everyone at Travis’s team and the event management should have listened to the concerns of the crowd and been proactive enough to tell Travis to stop the show. This was a preventable tragedy caused by negligence and honestly a bit of narcissism IMO. I’ve seen Travis react more and take more action about his personal safety than the safety of his fans and that speaks volumes

My thing is this out of everyone Travis had the most power to stop the show. He encouraged all of his fans to break in and sneak in even though the venue was sold out. He continued to sing on stage while watching someone get carried out. Ignored his fans telling him and the crew to stop the show. Many people where passing out and getting trampled even before the show began due to his tweets encouraging them to all be there knowing it’s sold out and way understaffed. He himself stated that they knew what they came there to do while people were telling him to stop the show. Kylie herself recorded the emergency vehicle trying to get through the crowd so she knew the extend of what things were going on which is why they rushed her and her daughter out of there. Which is why im not sure why she started that they didn’t know about anything until the next day is just straight bullshit cause there was many videos out of people yelling to stop and that people are dying and passing out which I’m sure she could hear the crowd boing and chanting stop the show. We have seen several people stop their shows when theses things are happening. Asap Rocky stoped an entire show to make sure one women was picked up off the ground and was yelling at his fans to help her up. Travis had stoped a show because of a shoe was taken from him or whatever happened with it. So yes I think Travis is the one to blame the most because he had the most power to have stoped the show because in this case the show can’t go on when your artist isn’t performing and taking care of his fans who he claims to care so much for.

I’m sorry but with all due respect, There’s no way he couldn’t see any of it or hear because there was a few times he acknowledged them and continued the show. He had the power to stop it and decided not too. That whole crowd like you said was booing him. He understood people were getting hurt. He just didn’t give a fuck. He has done this before. He told people to also break in. I like that your brought that stuff up but when you think logically it just all does go back to Travis. He was working with them behind the scenes too, he understood people were getting hurt before he went on stage. He understood people were hurt so bad an ambulance was there. If he could see people in a tree and communicate with the crowd that there’s a guy hanging up in a tree. He could see people being carried away. He did the robot when someone is DYING!!!! There was really no way he didn’t know I can’t really be convinced otherwise especially when you listen to people who were there. Who said. HE KNEW! “Who told me to stop who told me to stop? Two hands up to the sky. You know what we came to do. Let’s rage.” Like…. This is a direct response to someone on his team telling him that someone is hurt. No it’s not all his fault. But he is heavily responsible more than half responsible. My opinion is that he’s responsible and the production is also shit. They are both responsible and but should be held accountable. Travis hired this staff… LiveNation needs to be sued with Travis and criminal charges against Travis for inciting a riot.

There's nothing demonic about it and people putting that idea out there are christians who look for 'satanic' imagery and meanings in every kind of music they consider not godly enough, just like the fools in the 70s and 80s claiming that if you played certain records backwards you could hear evil messages. Travis is very responsible for creating an image over the years that actively encourages venting and dangerous behaviour at his concerts, but trying to attach some implied satanic intent to it as well, merely distracts from the real issue of artist, management and venue responsibility - and anything that distracts from that (like various christian vloggers and Instagramers are doing now with their crazy theories) is insulting to the people whose lives were lost.

I have Travis Scott fans that’s sitting here and defending him saying that ‘’It’s only 8 people’’ YES ITS 8 PEOPLE BUT those people went to have a good time yet there life’s were sadly taken due to the lack of safety and security. Those 8 people were others children, grandchildren, siblings etc. Some are even taking it extremely too far by comparing his event to Ariana event in Manchester. Ariana’s event was a terrorist attack that she had ABSOLUTELY NO control or knowledge of just a idiot that came to a show with hopes of taken life’s. Travis’s event could have been 100% AVOIDED if he would have just had better security and didnt encourage his fans that didn’t pay for tickets to jump the gates to get in causing it to over populate with lack of space and 100s ending up getting trampled and ran over. So no I do not want to hear an excuses for him it’s disgusting. Kylie is also disgusting for posting the ambulance on her story and the day after lying about not knowing. Travis was very aware for what was going on seen someone unconscious getting carried out stopped for a minute just to continue again all because he cares more about money then his fans safety. Travis had 100% control to stop it and didn’t. What kills me more is the fact that he hoped on Instagram and recorded himself trying to act as if he gaf scratching his head like he was tryna remember his script. Will never in my life attend a Travis concert EVER auto tune isn’t worth my life. One of my friends also lost one of there friends due to this tragic event.
