I loooove this version!! Kim is a teacher!! You learn at lot just by listening!! She knows how to deliver!! That’s a very important element amongst others!! I had the opportunity to sing this at a open mic and took some of her abilities and made them to be my own.. I thank God for blessing EARTH with this gift!! Amaaaazing BGV!!!! I remember Crawley from Sunday’s Best!! She was the 1st winner I believe!! Amazing job!! Blended perfectly!!

When ur that good doesn't really matter the description of her voice is... She is w out the doubt...in my lifetime the greatest singer to match vocal skills ,w emotion and ...musical intellect... Can't ever get tired of her work...the hi...is higher! But ... technically...I'm guessing she is a coloratura...she can hit soprano notes easily and sing low alto notes w equal facilty... What an artist!

I think she s really what they call a coloratura...an alto w very good range and mixed tones. Ive worked w girls who were NOT sopranos who were voice majors that could hit A's and Bb's...On good days now do to moving to a small mountain and clean air...I can hit A's Bb's and Dbl C's ...not falsetto...but it s more head and mixed tones... Thing is Kim is the ultimate emotions singer(matched by deep skills and musical intellect)...She starts a song sometimes at a very dynamic level and u wonder where can she possibly go from here...and then she shows u and u are in aural heaven...what a force!

I never thought about the possible contralto ...Maybe she worked hard to develop that low chest voice that she sometimes slips into and touches . I knew that if she didnt do so much Ministry performances thered be no raspiness... SHe has an incredible instrument w incredible musicality... I relish in the chilling emotional and intellectual greatness of her performance...and am also jealous!! lol thx J

She was actually sick here.(possibly covid 😰). Kim’s range & manipulation of her rasp & clearing of her tone is actually impeccably impressive. If you watch her other recent videos she displays better mixed belts & placement with more tasteful tonal clarity.

@@Blueridge4000 Kim has a nice range as well as tone, her ability to manipulate a note from legato to staccato is that of a true old baptist church style (untaught but flows at will) but thinking now she may have been under the weather 🤧 next time honey lemon halls an eucalyptus peppermint tea 🍵 with a bit of ginger help soothe the vocal cords but still again she executed well

But Id sign up for and pay GOOD $ for Kim's voice, technique and creative ideas ! She s as good as it gets in Music!
