Friends of mine went to the same school as Fran, I didn’t because they are catholics and I’m a Protestant, seen Travis live at least 5 times. Great Scottish band! Scotland is great, Scotland is beautiful. I live in China and I miss Scotland. ❤️

Well I thought he's the weaker voice but also that it's alright. The solid parts are sung by the bassist. Fran doesn't need that, he has the charisma. he's a vocalist, not a singer. For a solid singer check out Tom Chaplin or i dont know, P!nk maybe.

Not a singer? Travis is Fran it's his voice that carries their whole sound. Solid doesn't necessarily mean loud or able to do annoying show off note runs. He sings the melody expressively, that's real singing.

Travis are The Best, "Sing" is timeless, never get sick of hearing it

Concentrados... cantando... sintiendo, uno junto al otro. Admiramos mucho esta hermosa banda. Tuvimos la oportunidad de verlos en Argentina llegando tarde al concierto :( Hoy junto a Anabella, mi esposa y con 3 hermosos hijos... tan enamorados como ese dia en el sillón, ansiamos vuelvan; lloraré mucho cuando junto a ella podamos estar ahi para verlos. I had been in their concert in 2008. That was one of the most wonderful moments I enjoyed so much in my life.

I've always had huge respect for this band from the first time I heard them and learned that they recorded "The Man Who" all analog to capture the nuances grit of recording. I could hear the Beatles influence in each song, but it's so subtle, a true homage. My favorite song is She's So Strange. it reminds me of something Lennon and Harrison would have concocted for the White Album.
