Hi Ann just came by your channel today. I have also traveled with my dolls in the past, and I'm over 40 I have a collection of different dolls but I have a small collection of AG dolls. I just ordered the Claudie doll a few days ago (as if I needed another doll) . I like taking pics of the dolls while I'm in a new city sight seeing. My friends and family find it a little weird or silly but after awhile they will start picking out places to do a quick photo posing the doll just so. Yea you will get some looks but so what. Your pics are awesome!

I love traveling with my dolls! I haven’t been out much in far places but I do take my doll out when I go to the movies and stuff sometimes, and of course the American Girl store. I turned 31 today and my love for American Girl dolls will never end! Thanks for sharing your adventures! I really enjoyed watching and your photos are beautiful!

It was a really fun experience! I bring my dolls in the car with me a lot to keep me company while I’m driving. Just to have a little friend with me😊

You definitely should!! It’s so fun and just very comforting

I feel like AG suitcases (and 18" doll luggage in general) holds so little! We took a doll with us on a vacation recently and it's crazy how little we could fit in her suitcase. Also, I love how we (doll collectors) make sure our dolls have comfy travel-day clothes for their time in the airport and on the plane 🤣🤣

I know right?? There’s no room whatsoever. And yes, if the dolls are traveling they have to be comfy, it’s not up for debate! I always dress my dolls for the appropriate weather too when traveling. I was in Southern California by the ocean so it wasn’t hot but it also wasn’t cold, so Ellette was dressed for the in between

@@nowandforeverag Yes, they've got to dress for the weather. One thing I realized after our last trip is I want to make sure they take PJs, too. It sounds like the getting there was a headache (with your canceled flight and all) but once you finally got there it seems like a pretty great time. I'm glad you - and Ellette - enjoyed it!

A cruise with a doll would be so fun! I’ve been on a cruise once a few years ago, but wasn’t collecting at the time. I know i would love to take a doll along with me on a cruise though!

I just watched this and love that you travelled with your doll! I’m sorry you got sick but it looks like you still had a good time. I recently took my doll with me on the ferry. I was a little shy at first taking her out of my back pack. I did see a couple of people smiling and looking but I didn’t care and I took pictures and video of her on the ferry. I work in a dental office and one of our adult patients brings her dragon character as a comfort during her appointment. I love that we can be open with our love of these precious toys that bring us joy. 💕

It was such a fun experience! I still struggle with bringing my dolls places. When I’m out of town it easier, but when I’m home where I live it’s harder. I still really enjoy it though and i love just taking my dolls in the car with me

I'm so sorry your flight got messed up. :( I think her 1/2 up 1/2 down hair style looks amazing. What gorgeous hair she has. I loved seeing your pics from your trip on Instagram. They looked so cute walking down the sidewalk.

I have a video of my boyfriend and I driving from california to michigan up on my channel and there’s a LOT of scenery footage in it! If you haven’t seen it you should definitely check it out😊

Where is that antique shop that you showed? I want to go there. 😊 Pretty sure that’s Ventura Beach in the video. If so, the antique shop should be near by in Cali. 😊. I’ve been to Michigan on vacation. Loved the history and quaint towns we visited. So fun.

Ellette is my california buddy. Hands down. I felt so comfortable and confident flying with her. She did get a shine mark in her forehead though🙃

The pics are amazing, and I loved that you found a PC Sam to bring home with you! ❤ The two girls together are my favorites 😊

It won’t be my next video, but I will post a video about her and my restoration process! So far I’ve only cleaned her vinyl, washed her hair, and gave her a quick hot water dunk for the frizziness. I plan on curling her hair and tightening her limbs!

Thank you! Sam is the first doll I ever found at a thrift store, and it’s funny because I never ever find doll stuff at thrift stores in michigan, only when I’m in california!

i love this video! i need to fly with my dolls now, haha! when i take my doll into stores the only issue i have is that people will usually think i am younger. i am 20 but i do not look it so when i have a doll most people think i’m a kid lol. i hope you can go back soon!

This was a great vlog! Personally I love LOVE to travel with my dolls. I’m pretty sure I just took my 11 trip with a doll 2 weeks ago. I was actually in California December 3rd too. The beach part thought… I haven’t been to the beach since 2019 and I miss it 🥲. The photos at the end… and I thought I was a good photographer, I was blown away with them especially the first one with Samantha. Congrats on getting her, that’s so cool you found a Pleasant company doll fir $20!

I don’t travel too often, and when i do it’s to Southern California. It’s so nice to have a doll with me, I can’t explain why but I know you understand 😉 I love California. I definitely recommend getting some sort of doll carrying bag or backpack! I noticed since my doll was more exposed (like her head) she got a tiny shine mark on her forehead from being under the seat on the plane. I would just be cautious of that! And do not feel self conscious or embarrassed!! remember you will never see these people again. You might get some looks but most people don’t even notice. The lady that sat next to me on my flight even made friendly conversation about my doll!
