Dare i say the footage, editing and narration beats Nat geo specials!

Year after year, this is one of the most excellently produced film series I've seen. I love the cinematography, editing, characters, storytelling, etc. Absolute perfection, I'm blown away.

The best thing about XO is that you guys aren’t owned by Discovery or Nat Geo. You do it your way on your own terms. It is an amazing production. Admittedly though. I would like to the Nordic series a little more challenging in the vehicle travel aspect. Lol. Keep up the great work.

I'm binge watching this Nordic series, and I absolutely have to comment on this episode! The Faroe Islands are beyond a doubt the most incredible place that I have ever seen! In life or on screen! The 17 to 20 unbroken generations alone blows my mind! The lighthouse...WOW! I couldn't stop saying wow! I thought I had thoroughly been blown away by the Russian border stories! And Troll Road! But, Faroe Islands blew my mind! I'm so happy for you that the weather was kind to you!

I just got home from a trip last night. Halfway through this episode, my wounderlust is on fire.

I have wanted to see the Faroe's for two decades now, this video just solidifies the fact that I must do so. I haven't been the biggest fan of your work in the past few years, especially when compared against the older stuff, but I must say that this series is proving to be one of your best yet. It's the first time that I have found myself in awe of the places you're traveling to in each and every episode and it feels like it's the most informative and educational of all of your series up to this point. We all love seeing the cool new builds and products/accessories in the wild and the trials and tribulations that overland travel can entail but with this series I feel like I am watching a documentary showcasing the local sights and history more-so than just a 4WD travel channel. Oh, and everyone loves the Van Stralen's so good on you for including the younger generation in this adventure. Keep up the good work, it's certainly some of your best and I look forward to next weeks installment.

I work in NY film and television. Nothing surprises me but episode 6 is a homerun. Well done crew. XO, thanks for putting these stories together.

How does this not have more views. How is this not a fucking phenomenon outside our little overland-bubble? That scene with everyone leaving down the mountain and the photographer turning around for one last shot was BRILLIANT.

I’m blown away by the beauty. I have some apprehension because I never see faces similar to mine, but I would love to go on a photography trip.

Outstanding filming and storytelling, plus I love the narration. Superb place , been there twice. Thanks for reminding me of why I love it so much. When the Faroese go to the mainland, they often to go the Scandinavian Park Autohof in Handewitt, just over the border into Germany. Its cheaper as there's a form they fill in to get some tax back. You see Scandinavian cars being filled with groceries before heading back north.

The Gouda cheese at the little market actually makes really phenomenal scalloped potatoes!

@Maria CANCER - You will lose friends even family as your days of treatment move along. Cancer is a horror few wish to visit. Fear of is the main culprit. The public wishing to watch cancer patients and the overall progress either negatively or positively in my opinion, akin to suffering in silence. Back when I had cancer I spoke to very few about it. My last opinion. Coming here to post your channel is in poor taste. Its not even you asking for our Prayers asking God to be with you on your journey to beating the dreaded disease.

You would definitely get robbed in those countries. Middle East and Muslim countries prey on the tourist for easy money and extortion and exploitation. Because the law is also corrupt in nature or backed by military force so minor laws are worse than major laws elsewhere

In all true senses, entire series so far has been a jaw dropping WOW but for me personally 2 epic moments from this episode were: Clay's reporting from soccer/football field 😄and the hike to the lighthouse. Cheers XO team!
