Travel To Myanmar During Civil War!!

Travel To Myanmar During Civil War!! In this Myanmar vlog I visit the peaceful and serene city of Nyaungshwe which is close to Inle Lake which makes you forget there is currently a civil war in Myanmar. This city in Myanmar has never been seen before on youtube. I arrive at Heho airport and My friend T takes me to his home in this beautiful and peaceful city of Myanmar. We explore some Monastery and Pagodas in this area of Myanmar known as Nyaungshwe. Even though Myanmar is currently under a civil war it is still a beautiful place to travel.

Who am I?
A man from the USA trying to discover the world one place at a time, while sharing the experiences through my lens. I like traveling to places that are usually not first on most people’s itinerary and showing everyone that these places are worth the journey. I want to experience all the countries I visit as a member of the society but at the same time learn about the culture, food and beautiful people. Growth is not achievable without leaving your comfort zone, so just do it!

I am sure many or some in Myanmar dont even really get it about the Dawei region, Rakhine hills, or far north of Kachin into the Himalayas. Just completely unique places on earth. But they are so into their illusions, situation, beliefs, timidness, etc.

Makes one wonder how the border region is up there, with immigration ports into Chiang Mai and Xishuangbanna. Funny you mentioned roads in/near Kathmandu and Pokhara. Many times I rented various bikes, scoped out the road, or jumped on local bus, both NW of each town into the northern ethnic/trekking areas. Never got to far on my own, either runs out of gas, road to brutal for a road bike, or stories of multiple landslides ahead requiring walking and bus changes. But met some cool local girls and found some beautiful green spots to sleep, or a Maoist r'ally' and local food.

As poor as Myanmar is even compared to the Southeast Asian countries further east like Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Phiippines, they actually have a relatively impressive rail network. The rail network in Indonesia isn't so extensive and the one that the Philippines (my country) has is puny.
