Sarushima is a natural and uninhabited island right off the coastal city of Yokosuka in Tokyo bay. This small island is filled with plenty of nature spots, scenic views, and outdoor activities offering locals and visitors an incredible place for adventure and relaxation. Good video, had never heard of this island, a good idea for my next visit in Japan!
We visited Sarushima on a day trip from Tokyo in 2015. I loved watching young Japanese guys letting their hair down with a few beers while barbecuing. Great walks too, and a cool tunnel. Thanks for the memories.
An interesting marine park outside Tokyo. Fascinating. Somehow more crowded than I would've thought.

That abandoned house looks quite spooky! Guess Sarushima was a strategic post back in like the Meiji era?
That is a wonderful island with lots of nature in it. I like those kind of spots! Have you seen people biking around there or is it too small for biking?
Neat little island! The tunnels and old architecture make for a good day trip! Is there anything to eat on the island?

It's a great day trip destination! There's a restaurant by the common facilities.
It's really a nice place for a day trip from Tokyo. Went there last year but I just relaxed on the beach. Next time, I will be a bit of explorer! :)

Another wonderful place so close to Tokyo, but yeah disappointing there are no monkeys there.
