We flew home to Stansted yesterday late morning and didn’t have any problems at all. It was very busy around the centre point just after security but I knew to head straight to the gates, and yes, it was so much quieter…. A great tip picked up from travelling back in June.

I'm looking forward to some sun, love your videos and looking forward to some exploring 😊❤

We were on the same plane as you. You sat next to my daughter, it was fascinating to see you doing what you do. My kids are supper chuffed to being on the "telly" haha. Enjoy your break :)

Mallorca Airport is going through a major expansion we noticed when there last week. Remember you can go through security etc into the departure gate area plenty of shops / restaurants miss the queue s before security.

That EasyJet queue is the smallest I’ve ever seen it. It’s normally double that. Tenerife South is even worse. All the other Airlines seem to have it all organised. Also, they’re all SO hot, the aircon has definitely been turned down. I’ve noticed this in all four airports I have been to in the last two months. Two abroad and two in the U.K.

I didn't film that bit very well as I was just looking down the side, but there were zigzag crowds (I should've walked behind to film, but at that point I was more concerned about the waves of people head to security!)

Great video Alex. Brings back memories. I had a hire car so allowed myself three hours so I could park it and return the keys. Fortunately my Jet2 flight was mid morning so the queues were not too bad (Jet2 had plenty of staff on duty and they very quickly got through the queue) but the queue at Passport Control was bad as there was only 2 policemen on duty and the the aircon was not working so very hot. Love the aerial views of Cuber and the blue gorge. Have a great holiday, John

Thank you John! That was also the first time we'd flown that way for a very long time. Interesting and a bit worrying to see the reservoirs so low though...

The only thing is, once through security the duty free is much more limited.

Hopefully you have a ball in England Alex and hope you brought your raincoat and brolly😂😂

We went through the airport yesterday to travel back to the UK approximately 12pm and it was no way near as busy as shown in your video, straight to check in desks and straight through security. The walk to the gates were empty corridors and straight to a desk for passport control. Amazing what time of day determines how busy it is. We were impressed with how easy it was at the airport and how they deal with security etc compared with the UK, it always seems such a hassle there. We always make sure we’re there at least 3 hours before when we depart the UK and was a bit sceptical at the time our bus transfer got us to Palma airport (which was about an hour and a half before our flight was scheduled to depart) but no need to be as we were soon at the departure gate.

Yes, I think there are loads of flights going out from around 9-11am, hence the busy-ness. Great to hear it's less busy later on!

I must've been lucky the day i flew back from Palma airport. It took me 5 minutes for my main luggage and there was no cue going through security. That was around 1pm

Hi Alex, hope all well. We've just got back from Tenerife to Manchester airport we thought both airports were a breeze tbh. Anyway we won't be visiting tenerife again, let's just say its not Mallorca, we've tried it but prefer the beautiful mallorca and now won't go anywhere else. Going to book santa ponsa I think. It depends where the plane comes in but from terminal A it can be a bit of a hike. If in doubt please don’t hesitate booking special assistance to be on the safe side

Dont want to be a spoil sport isn't photography banned in airports in Spain as it is in the UK? Also isn't it a violation of privacy filming like this at an airport?
