I love seeing everyone’s travel art supplies, even if I won’t be painting outside until spring and don’t have any travel planned. I still keep a “to go” bag ready for visiting my mom for an afternoon. Looking forward to your sketchbook tour!

I always have a sketchbook and that orange pen case in the Fjallraven bag ready to go. Less so now with the bad weather upon us but you never know.

I have this same pencil case and was trying to figure out how to fit all my coloured pencils in for my sketching. I saw what you did, and now I’ve been able to combine everything into one case instead of having a separate case for the coloured pencils 🎉

I really enjoyed this video! Spring is coming and I'm looking forward to sketching outside... I have that same pencil case but the double one that you can fit even more supplies!! lol I love it.. also love those travel brushes... thanks for the tips!

Oh my goodness. It would be dangerous to have an extra large version. I know I have to pare down my supplies. I can't wait for the warmer weather

In my Finding the right Pencase video I put the link to the orange case that I still use and love. I got it on Amazon. The Fjallraven bag was from the shop itself. The rest of the things were simply too numerous to list. Plus when I try to do links for Jackson's it is not a smooth process for some reason.

how do you keep your sailor pens from leaking ink all over your hands when you use them???? I'm ready to give up on mine and toss it in the garbage.

I've never had them leak on my hands. The problem that I think I'm having is that they might be leaking a little bit out of the converter. I don't have any leakage in my bag it's just weird that I keep having to refill the converter cartridge.

Where did you get your collapsible water bottle?

I enjoyed video and your items that you decided to bring along for your trip seem interesting i heard that some pens dont do so well on airplanes due to pressure are you ever worried one of your ink pens will run due to expansion of pressure of being inside of plane? Is it just certain types of ball point pens that tend to leak??? Im excited to see your sketchbook drawings of your vacation when you come home and post everything ..have a fun trip hope weather is better than nyc weather..mikelle art mom✍👩‍🎨🎨

Yes I never pack my pens in the cargo hold because I think it is worse there (and also temperature changes to worry about). These pens have so far been okay. It was only the little tube of gouache that seems to have suffered from the plane. I'm back now and the weather was great but a bit cool especially in Utah and especially as we climbed higher and higher in Bryce Canyon.

I had to remove a tube of white gouache from my travel bag. It got punctured somehow and I ended up with quite a mess. I eventually got it cleaned up but it took some effort. I need to figure out a tiny (sturdy) container that I can use for white gouache so I can have some available when I’m not at home.

@@FaithAnnNB Maybe one of those little plastic ones or even a small tin as you can pour it out and it can dry up and still be useful. I should follow my own advice...

I have the same fude pen and it leaked when I flew. You might want to put it in a ziplock bag for your flight

@@gdan9923 I'll watch out then. Two trips so far and they've been good. I do use a converter in it so maybe that helps?
