This might not make any sense but I interpreted the ending as showing us that Gabriel is the real protagonist of this story, and V1 is merely a narrative device, a perspective for us to view Gabriel’s story from. After all, the only story elements we see (lore books, post-act epilogues) are about Gabriel. We know next to nothing about V1, and Gabriel is shown to have an actual character arc. Just some food for thought, love your content :).
