Trauma Surgeon REACTS To TV Show Trauma Scene
Today, I'm going to be reacting to a scene from the medical drama, Saving Hope, where Alex, one of the main characters, is stabbed in the chest by a patient.
As a trauma surgeon, I've seen my fair share of trauma cases, and it's always interesting to see how medical situations are portrayed on TV. I wanted to watch this scene and give you guys my professional opinion on how accurate the portrayal is.

man i love your videos, really hoped this one would be longer. keep up with the great content
I felt like this video ended too soon. It would have been a good teaching/learning opportunity to hear about how this situation resolved (where was the injury? did she survive? how realistic was the proposed scenario and eventual outcome?). Thanks for the videos, Doc!

Можно ли здесь спросить вашего совета по моему заболеванию?
Hey doc! I was wondering if you could make a video on the bullying culture in medicine. Can you talk about a time in your residency or medical career where an attending or another doctor screamed at you or embarrassed you. How did you deal with that situation?
The reason she reacted this way is because earlier in the episode she's wearing a heart monitor and the cardiologist is worried about an irregular heartrate.
