Trauma Release Exercise with Dr. David Berceli at Trauma Release and Wellness Centre
TRE Session with Dr. David Berceli.
Dr. David Berceli is the creator of the unique and innovative series of TRE® -Trauma Releasing Exercises, that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma.
TRE® safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance and homeostasis.

Late to the party, but I just discovered this today. I did it three times today with the last lasting 50 minutes. What an incredible experience and so cool to see the body rewire, loosen, and heal itself. I’ll be adding this to my self care routine. Thank you 💕

Me too and it looks interesting. But. but am i supposed to make myself stiff and cause trembling? Doing that causes my back muscles to charley-horse and harden up and it is unbearable pain! Why should i make this stiffness happen?

I did this watching. I’ve been to these sessions before but it’s been a few months. While do this 12 mins in I just started to cry. So I just let myself cry and then felt better.
This is amazing. I have been suffering from fibromyalgia for 17yrs n this shaking helps me release so much tension n trauma. Thank you so much
I ended up doing this for around 2.5-3 hours. Unintentionally, and not sure if that’s recommended-probably not. But it took a while for me to tremor enough for it to migrate to other parts of my body. Once it did oh my goodness. It was like I was a puppet and my strings were being pulled every which way. I have extreme muscle tension in my neck and traps all the time for many years and this is the first thing I’ve found to make a significant difference the first time trying it. My body moved in ways I couldn’t even imagine and found the perfect spots to release the tension. Definitely have a bit of a headache now but can’t believe how well that worked. I will be doing this as often as I can. Thank you so much for posting a full video on it!
life changing im shook (literally)
This was about as close to magic as you can get - thanks! Months of chronic leg pain just disappeared. I'm very interested to see what ongoing sessions will do for me.
Extraordinary. To see how body works, wants to, all on its own. Calm, reassuring guidance of Dr Berceli was pure witness form. Think this just changed my life today. 😳😅😭💜 Thank you.
Thank you! Amazing!
Phenominal, wonderful to watch
Thank you!!!
Thank you for sharing this video! One of the best guided TRE sessions I’ve seen so far on KZread. And to be guided by David Berceli himself is a big bonus. The brief lifting of the shoulders and also the brief “slight lifting” of the knee when the legs were straight was also really helpful.
This was so beautiful and had me in tears.. how amazing...

A new experience , I did this for the first time today and my legs had some small tremors yet it was mostly my abdominals that were having spasms. On the second exercise, Interesting. ❤Thank you for this video.
Wow, I was shaking all over. This is so powerful! Thank you. What a blessing!
I was so excited to do this and after a while on the floor shaking, letting my body do its thing, my leg finally swung to flip me over to face the floor with my head over one arm and it gained control of my free shoulder and would shake in intervals down to my waist
Tried this for the first time, my legs feel great right now. The tremors didn’t go past my hips, so I think I’m holding a lot of tension there. Excited to make this a new habit, thank you so very much :)

I am here to reveal how to move the tremors up your body! You must allow them to travel by shifting your focus to that area and allowing it to leave the other... Example close your eyes as you focus on your right hand then shift to the left observing your ability to shift awareness from one to the other exclusively.. All the love.

Unbelievable I just tried this and I really thought it wouldn't work on me! My hips and legs were shaking like mad. I have ankolysing spondylitis in my back and also have had a hysterectomy so not sure if the shaking was because of those but it was like magic! I've had a lot of trauma over the last 7 years so that too might have been breaking up! I'm going to keep trying this exercise it's brilliant!
Very interesting....would it help with psuedo seizures?
I did the exercise and my thights started to shake uncontrollably , wow
Sorry, but towards the start of the video, the hips are raised. Then suddenly the hips & back are on the ground, with no explanation or context. How long did he hold them up? We’re they dropped after the wiggling got too intense? Or was his back hurting? This alone is confusing, how could we know we’re doing it correctly? please give clearer & more detailed instruction….thanks!

Would this help to gradually increase vagal tone and reduce chronic fatigue symptoms?
I was exploring this TRE exercise after having experiencing shaking during pain reprocessing meditation. I quickly learned how to get my body to shake without much effort, it would happen a lot during myofascia fashion release sessions - it’s now been about 8 months and I’m still experiencing impromptu shaking, which I can control and calm. I’m just curious if it’s better for me to allow it to happen and work itself out or instead soothe and calm my nerves override this to let my body know it’s ok and we don’t need to shake anymore there’s no danger. I’d love your advice to apply to my healing journey- kindly thank you

You absolutely should try this. When the shaking starts to subside that's how you know you are receiving a release of the trauma and you will start to feel a lot better. Regular sessions of doing this will get you to a point where everything will be released. The more shaking you do in the beginning just means there's a lot to release. Good luck I hope that you move forward to do this because you will be so happy with how you feel afterwards each and every time. Let this be your sign if you have not already started to just do it, I promise you as a fellow spiritual soul you will not be disappointed. Good luck I wish you wonderful release so that you can feel like the beautiful soul that you are.❤️

Genuine question, but are the tremors not just normal muscle fatigue? Is it a combination? I felt some tremors but it felt exactly like when the muscle fatigues, didn’t necessarily feel sort of release like?
If i dont shake what does this mean?
At what time will the vibrations end, for me they last really long, so much so that I feel tired and sense nausea... Still my mind is not able to be at complete peace, Does that mean I am holding onto a lot???
Guys I don’t know how to put this but I laughed I didn’t cry I LAUGHED 😭😭😭

How do i reach these shakings.. I only have them when pusing my pelvic up high and find a sweet spots with the knee positions. Al these things at the end did nothing
I've tried this a couple of times and as the tremors go through my body I find it gets trapped in my chest and upper back muscles. It's like it's Charlie horsed. After a few minutes it does go away but I don't know how to redirect it
