Unless you really want to keep it, sell to totally offset new projects. Hopefully works out free, or at least little out of pocket expense.

Might I suggest a theme. Sell it for another project that you could in turn sell for more than the previous. Repeat this until you can walk into a shop and walk out with something brand spanking new. This would accomplish two or more goals. 1. More content 2. New bike 3. Teach your younger viewers about what you can end up with when you put the time and work in Love you guys and hope you the best!

I absolutely love this stuff! I just stumbled across the first video on the bike, got hooked, followed it through and subscribed. This is exactly the sort of thing we did when we were kids (like 14 through to 20 odd) just we didn't have the tools, money or the easy availability of spares! I'm 57 this year and I haven't ridden a motorcycle since I was about 27. I rode battered 90's, 125's, 250's, assorted trials bikes and then a Honda CX500 and finally a Z1000 J Kawasaki. I've got to get me an old lunker and restore it, I just have to!. You make it look easy and I know its not. Keep up the great work!.

One tip for your carburator to get the perfect idle is to actually buy yourself an air-fuel adjustable screw, makes life so much easier! Had some issues with idling myself and getting the perfect air-fuel ratio together with acceleration. It helped me alot buy getting the screw! Also when you're kickstarting, i'm noticing you're kickstarting it like it would be a 2-stroke, you should only kickstart when it's TDC and it should run after 1-2 kicks :)

I watch your videos on youtube on my tv set so I get a great view of your videos. First I would like to say camera girl has truly a golden heart and both of you have great comedy. I was so impressed with your 80cc honda scooter video I bought a 1985 elite 150 standard. Really like it, changed the drive belt and all. I like watching how well you take bike transmissions appart and don't forget- my father is 81 mow but had a farm, and said when he was young could take a tractor engine apart and remember everything too -but no more so enjoy it now! Years ago I rebuilt many motorcycles, but never needed trans work, my first a 1972 kawasaki H1 two stroke triple street bike, which was piloted to 98 mph.(off road of course). Would like to see more honda scooter work, how to adjust the odd exterior paddle valve adjusters, and other maintenance. Keep fixing old bikes and maybe a puch or motobecane moped! See my moped videos...

I enjoyed the videos. It has given me hope for my 99 yz400 that I bought sitting in a barn filled with 4 year old gas. I need to get mine running too. Thanks for the motivation.

Just found your videos and I have to say I truly enjoy them keep them coming. As far as the bike why not a raffle to cover your expenses and what not and let a lucky fan enjoy it👍

This is what you should do with this bike an all future projects. You have over 240k subscribers, and you bike videos all have over 100k views. When you finish a project, you set a raffle for the bike; just a $1 ticket with the condition that a minimum amount of tickets be sold. All proceeds from the raffle go to the next project. If you only get 10% of your subscribers to participate, you already make 24 grand per bike. And someone out there gets a $1 bike.

Problem is, stuff like that can get tricky legally. He'd have to go to a lawyer and figure all that out.

Love the idea Thomas. How many subs are attorney bikers? How may would donate the advise for the auction/raffles? At approx $24k per raffle - you could ship it anywhere in the US and still make a ton of money. I think these two are so humble they wouldn’t ask. But we should help them catapult themselves financially and their channel by doing stuff like this. I would buy tickets with NO intension of taking the bike. I would give it back to him and let him raffle it again! Anyways, great idea Thomas!

@@gkmandymoo right? Shipping a bike cross country is only between 1000 and 1500, and would be built into the minimum I mentioned. A lawyer? That's fine, it's a one time thing that costs peanuts compared to what they could make.

I enjoyed the videos. I haven't been on a dirt bike in about 40 years and have been toying with the idea of getting a cheap dual sport. I did a little dirt road riding a couple of years ago on my Vulcan Mean Streak but it's too heavy and low for real fun. Keep making videos for us.

Just stumbled upon your channel man and I loved watching that build! I had a 98 Suzuki 125 that was bored out. Absolutely loved that bike. I got it for my 11th birthday and havent seen it since my mentally ill father sold it... I’m 17 now :/ but I can’t tell you how cool it is to watch people rebuild their shining turds and just have fun like I did. Anyway love the channel man!! New subscriber right here!
