I subscribe to the fact that struggling is a lifestyle.

If you put Vaseline around the outer edge of the jar, your lid won't stick. Less likely to get dried bits in the paint also.

They are all great. Loved the white bird cage. I like that little wood pig too. I think I would have done OINK lettering on him. Well I am lazy and four letters would have been easier. LOL

We definitely learn from our mistakes lol, so, so many learning opportunities. I don't get upset anymore, just roll with it! You'll drive your self crazy trying to be perfect. I love your perfectly imperfect saying, so true!! Love your work.

Everything was equally super cute!!!! As for projects giving me trouble. It's all day, every day, every time. Lol I have a " monument" to remind me of the ultimate makeover fail. I thought it was a great idea to remake a nineties BMX bike into a gaming console table. Two years later, blew the budget three times over, and the top decided to warp on me. It's in my family room reminding me never to say, "this is going to be an easy one!" Lol

Oh the Southern Fried chicken was the winner for me! Love it!

These all came out great, but my favorites are the chicken and the pig! Oh my they are so stinkin cute!

All are great. My mind just is swimming with thoughts of get back to crafting and decorating. Hard to maintain the motivation, though. You are so talented.

They're all great makeovers I love the piggy and chicken especially the southern fried and to giggle 🤭 at that. Oh and yes if I didn't struggle doing projects I'd wonder what was wrong

I think there all adorable but love the bird cage with that sweet star. Of all the Utube channels I watch I find you as my favorite for make overs that have new life. And yes, I make lots of boo boos on my make overs. Lesson is, live n learn. ♥️😊👍🌟🌟

Oh my goodness! I'm a fairly new crafter so I struggle ALL the time, LOL!!

23:36 Nope…I never have struggled while crafting. 🤥 😆 I’ve been wanting a chicken and/or rooster, pig, sheep, and a goat cutting boards. I now know what I’ll be putting on the pig and chicken ones! 👍🏻 I love ALL the makeovers…great job as always, Yvonne!! 🫶🏻 Oh! I meant to also tell you about what we found at the city dumpster! It's a HUGE birdcage! I'll take a picture of it and email it to you so you can see it! Once I'm able to get crafting again, (been in the new house for a week so have tons of sorting, putting up stuff, painting every single wall, DIY-ing window treatments, etc), I'm going to tackle fixing it up. The floor is jacked up but I'm sure I can come up with something. Not sure if I'll have it indoors or outside...or what I'll do with it. It’d look awesome with a fern or something in a pot on the inside! 🤔 So many ideas! WWYD - What would Yvonne do? 😆 (ya know, instead of WWJD) 😉 You've heard that, right?

Everything is amazing as usual! Being a southern girl myself, that chicken sign was too much! 😋Sooo cute! Also so funny, my birthday was yesterday and I spent literally ALL day thrifting. 😀I found a little piggie very similar to the one you made over! So funny! Of course I don't want to copy what you did, but dangit they are just so cute! Such a funny happy video for me. 😁 And yes, I struggle all the time hah! I'm sure if I was creating videos, I would struggle even more LOL (that's my kinda life!). And the poly first is a good idea, or even easier, you can spray a quick really thin (if not kinda uneven) coat of clear Rustoleum/spraypaint before you stencil too. It's just enough to keep your paint from coming up without much drying time and things not looking "thicker" later.

Ok with the kitchen island piece yesterday and the little birdcage today I would have to say that you two are the best at putting mish mash pieces together and making them beautiful. Loved them all.

I have one of those little seed feeders that you removed the hangers off the back. The hangers are for putting the feeder on a post, tree or whatever. I feed meal worms to the bluebirds in it.

I'm a sucker for animals so the chicken and pig then birds, Then the star hangy thing, bird houses but not, and horse. All of them are good. You could take a piece of mud and make it into something amazing.:) Love ya Chick. God Bless. Rebekah

Sometime I have to do my project two and three time before they come up the way I want it to.

I think all of these projects are awesome! I loved them all❤!

I use Saran Wrap under my lids & a plastic glove gives me just enough grip most times to take the lid off….love your work! And oh yes, struggles are real…but it all works out in the end.

I usually seal my pieces before adding the stencil. It works so much better.

Hard to pick a favorite, but I think I like the bird dish and the cloche best.

If you use glad press'nseal prior to the lid, your lids will not stick. Also, there is less chance of drying out your your paint, glue and of course the food it was made for. Hope you try it out. Always enjoy your videos, thanks for all the shopping adventures as well.

I have a severe love for birds and bird cages and bird houses, so you hit upon all three of those in this video and I loved all of those three projects. You're always an inspiration to thrift flip and create beautiful decor for our homes. Thanks again!

the 4 little bird item was a bird bath. you should have kept the hanging system on so you could hang it outside for the birds/butterflies.

Another awesome video! You are so inspiring. I really like this new technique with the aging stain the candle wax then white paint. I liked all the pieces, but that chicken sign is my favorite.

I love all of it and I like the Southern Fried on the chicken. I done craft shows for years and made the signs, never seen the southern fried! They always sold good the cute sayings on them!I used the technique doing crackled with glue, you put the glue on with a lot of paint using the same brush stroke, never used the Vaseline. Will have to try it❤
