Trash Talkin' with Leo Sewell
Leo Sewell creates naturalistic sculptures out of a huge variety of found objects. His work and his personality are infused with a gentle humor and his craftsmanship and work ethic are unrivaled. Leo Sewell is a true bridge between the avant garde Dadaist traditions of Marcel Duchamp and the self taught "outsider" visionary artists of America's heartland.

How interesting! Beautiful pieces.... what a fabulous visionary~ My absolute pleasure to take a walk-thru. 🦋 ☀️ 🌸
That was awesome. Thank you very much for introducing me to Mr. Sewell.
Absolutely love this! It's rare that I see an artist interview and feel like I really WANT one of his pieces.
Adore this art. He is great and so funny.
Wonderful creations! I love to work the way you do!
by far the most REAL artist I have seen in...well ever! His not trying to be anything or anyone his not nor is he trying to convince anyone that his art is anything more than it is to him. FANTASTIC! thanks so much for sharing with us☺
This was such a fascinating movie, great guy, you brought out so much about his art and personality--what a wonderful, wonderful movie! Leo was such a likable guy, so down to earth, and in many ways a definitive artist. "We got each other used" "perched on the US with its ass on Russia" "hope the grand kids will fight over it" "thieves will step over much more expensive items to get these sculptures--they just want it." Absolute gold by the gold miner of art movies, Johnnyboy!
Really awesome...an inspiration
I really REALLY love your work - and how you put them together so they're really strong is amazing! I got rid of my slide rules not very long ago - I was sad, it felt like the end of an era and your skyscrapers made out of them is a great tribute to these wonderful things. Thank you for making this film and putting this up here.
This work is absolutely stunning. Loved this interview
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your work. Thanks for sharing.
